People that say this TDF and the past TDF's have been boring because of Pogi and Jonas dominating aren't true fans of the sport because there is so much more going on within the tour than just the battle for the podium!! Theres so many other things going on that make each tour so exciting. You've got Cav's 35th stage win. You've git Bini wearing the green jersey and being the first African to win a stage at the tour. You've got Jonas Abrahamsen on Uno-X wearing the KOM jersey and being out front basically for the first 2 weeks to keep it and his dedication to honour the jersey. You've got Remco about to get a podium spot in his forst TDF when so many doubted him. You have Romain Bardet wearing yellow for the first time in his career. You have the battles for 4th -10th position. You've got guys really trying hard to get 3rd in the points classification. You've got first time riders at the Tour doing amazing things and so much more!!! 🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

If Bini abandons the Tour we all know Jasper did NOT EARN the green jersey. If Bini does not make it to Nice Jasper only gets the points classification by default and no true champion wants to win because another rider abandoned due to injury and many of us that live for the sprints won't acknowledge Jasper as the TRUE winner of the points classification. I just hope Bini can ride into Nice. We will still have a battle on our hands for green because of how close 1st and 2nd place are to each other so the intermediate sprints will be fought for with tenacity 🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Biniam and Philipsen are excellent sprinters. Philipsen benefits from an experienced lead out team. Intermarché were out muscled and swallowed by the Peleton in this final sprint. On an individual level, I believe, Biniam is the faster sprinter.

It's a team sport. If he can be carried towards the finish for the final sprint, so can other teams, and they ideally want that to happen. He's got relegations this tour, so I think the organizers are doing their best to ensure they do the final sprints fairly.
