I have some health issues that would make caring for a dog difficult. I don’t think I would be able to provide the kind of care that a pet deserves so I completely understand your situation. I absolutely adore watching these boys and how much “Linda” obviously loves and cherishes them. It fills that gap for me so much and I am grateful for that. ❤

I’m in the same situation. At a time we need a dogs companionship the most, we can’t have it. I miss my dog so much. Sometimes I can’t watch dog videos because I cry with the loneliness.

@@speed6725 This las year I've gone down a rabbit hole of dog videos, cause from experience I know I still have what it takes to be a calming, relaxing presence for a dog to feel safe. But the rest of it, having the energy required to raise it and take care of it properly. Since like a child a dog is at some point going to misbehave and test boundaries, so you make the proper corrections to make sure small problems don't blow up and become big problems. I don't have that in me. Sure there are some dogs that are truly amazing, and they are not even trained to be service dogs. A while back I saw a video from Asia where an old woman had taken in a dog that lived on the street. Without any training it went into service mode helping her with all kinds of things. It was truly remarkable to see, just as a small a thing as going under her to help her get her foot up to the petal on her homemade shopping cart bike. Then when she got home she could open a latch on the back of the cart, making it possible for the dog to carry the groceries in for her. The dog was practically self sufficient the only thing she did was pay for and make its food, throw a ball and lots of cuddles. She was in no condition to take care of it in any other way but they made it work.

You have two wonderful water floofs! 4:51 Our first golden was afraid of the water...until I took her out about 100ft from shore and had my daughter start calling her from the beach. i put her in the water and she swam to my daughter than back to me. That's was the end of the water is bad chapter and opened i'm not getting out of the water one.
