Barb not playing the first game has him missing out on how the town itself works. Basically the town is under the control of some ancient god or demon. It calls people to it for reasons. And uses their guilt or shame to make them see a version of silent hill that reflects what they are guilty of. James sees a decrepit version and monsters, fat guy sees a frozen meat locker and corpses, and the woman sees a world on fire. While the little girl just sees a normal town since she came of her own free will and isn't actually guilty of anything

You clearly haven't seen the SMW Relay Race on GDQ 2022 with their victory dab. I would recommend it, it's worth a watch for that excellent Necrodancer music alone.

tts kinda destroyed the more profound and serious moments in the game, but i guess you can't expect bald internet addicts to know what it's like to be in a failing relationship with somebody and having to deal with regret afterwards. still good streams overall

If your looking for symbolism, watch different streamers who cater to that type of playing, if you want to laugh and watch a guy lose his shit when things suck, you watch barb. You can't have it both ways man, he was a high school teacher, your feelings aren't valid.
