Ya it’s just cel shading very common with UE4/5 engine since it does it so well. This take of “fortnite character” is pretty funny though. Like how new gamers think every skin originated from it, like chun-li which is a street fighter character. But kids these days legit think fortnite created it. Cel shading has been around forever. Borderlands being a very popular game for that art style as an example.

I was excited to play some rank after seeing how cool season 3 is looking and I have to say truthfully the worst Gunplay I ever experienced in a FPS in a long time. Awful recoil that's unpredictable, damage and range that's only viable when you're at each other's faces like come on what happened?. Season 1 was so much fun! of course not the nukes but man what went wrong? the knife spamming is so crazy! oh my God what happened to this game?. @@MusashiHeadSplitta I think a good comparison is Apex they have a good balance between recoil and damage output and damage fall off depending on the weapons variants they do a excellent job on that, this game is lacking with balancing clearly. You even have to to be a Esports Pro to realize that. I'm hopeful they fine a balance, because the visuals and skins in this game are better than all games when it comes to FPS games🔥

IMHO it does fit. UE4/5 does a fantastic job with cel shading. People wanted new faces and different head shapes. This is about as dynamic as you’ll get. Honestly I like the direction they’re going, it shows how broad they can make cosmetics. Only so much you can do with everything. And the cel shaded skin shows up well in game too; that’s where I could see an issue but it actually shows up just fine. Not like enemies and teammates don’t have outlines anyways. Regardless if people want the game to expand with players appeasing all different audiences as far as cosmetics go; is the right way to go about it. Especially with how big anime has been in the recent years, combined with the fact the entire theme of this season is Japanese; it fits all too well. And just because fortnite uses cel shading doesn’t mean they created it! Plenty of games have been using cel shading for many many years; including the likes of borderlands, jet set radio, Zelda etc.

Couple issues with that, 1 I streamed for over 6 hours yesterday and it was my first stream in over 2 years. I needed a breather after so I took a second for myself instead of “burning out” and recording the BP as well as another video that will be uploaded today shortly after. 2. Ottr and the other creators are from Europe region/sweden etc. Embark post the patch notes at 4:30am my time. I try my best getting up that early but sometimes I like to wait for further news and feedback. From audio to editing to upload: this process can take me anywhere from 1.5 - 2+ hours. I don’t have the best internet so for example this video took me 45 minutes just to upload. I’ve streamlined this as much as possible with everything but I am trying to get faster and better overall. However with my current internet I am held with a decently big crutch. I get this might not be optimal for some people. And I honestly I do feel bad about the last 3 uploads being late; that was genuinely on me with some IRL stuff that got* in the way at least with the last 2.
