I think jerkbaits are one of the more technical baits but I think the most technical bait is the a rig with the different dive wires different head weights blades no blades then u have 3wire 5 wire and 9 wire plus size of swimbait and u have to count down or fish on bottom it has lots of variables

I will add your channel to the several great instructional channels that I recommend to new anglers including Tactical Bassin and Fish the Moment (where I discovered you Randy). I’m just a little older than you and been an avid bass fisherman for 40+ years. Most of that has been in Texas on Fork, Toledo Bend, Sam Rayburn, etc. Maybe that’s why I haven’t had great luck with jerk baits (not super clear water). Hopefully you can teach an old dog some new tricks. Love your channel!

I guess I should have paid closer attention to Richard McCarty one day on Lake Fork when he caught an 8lb+ on a jerk bait...but then I caught 9lb+ a little later on a Texas rig worm so I couldn’t be persuaded to throw the jerk bait. 😊

I REALLY am looking 4ward to these upcoming videos.Ive recently took my own jerkbait technique to the next level this spring;catching nice jerkbait fish on both a baitcasting glass crankin outfit & a whippy,medium action spinning rod.Have to say I feel I can control the bait more;& make more accurate casts with a spinning rod.You throw yours on an Orochi 7' 2" or something?Anyways,I know when it comes to Jerkbait-ing,you the Man,Mr Blaukat so can't wait!!!
