Love the enthusiasm. I especially appreciate the detail you add in when you're discussing the different tools and the strain they put on the machine. The new knurling tools seem to make the work much easier.
This is the first video I've watched that starts with 3 unskippable Ads before the actual video even begins. But I stayed for it because I saw how long the duration of the video is, luckily the content is great too.
Very nice tool. Didn't know that type existed. I just bought a new knurling tool of the crushing type so I guess I'll stick to that until it wears out.

Konnichiwa. For the first time in many years someone is commenting these wonderful tools. This Quick comes from (Swarowski-Optik AG) Austria, they are quite expensive. 30 years ago I had an order for knurled Nylon nuts. I bought the Quick Cut Knurling tools for straight and cross knurling. I think a cutting (milling) knurling is the only way for Nylon. Height adjustment is critical.
Google translate makes a bit of a mess but I get the general idea of what your saying. With a crush knurl you can't control final diameter very accurately but it is possible to get nice peaks and valleys by measuring pitch of wheels and circumference of work. With a cut knurl you can control finished diameter as you know maximum cutting depth but to be 100% accurate you still have to calculate circumference and know pitch of cutting wheels. Your new cut knurler is a very nice piece, thanks for making video.
Impressive result ... jsut by gutt-feeling, your rpms appear to be a bit on the high side...

Dude, I grew up in the 50s, and I've always knurled any parts that required it by hand. With the same two triangular files my gran gave me. Cheers, man. Domo.

What happen to you Japanees that you are advertising japanees made knurling tool set with german made cutters... Stand up! You can do it much better. Thank you for the brilliant milling machine i have: Shizuoka VHR-G. I love it!:) Greetings from Poland.
15:22 There are a few exeptions, what if the knurled part is in a housing in a way that only lets say 1/5 is accessible to lets say adjust a lens on a optic device. Then the finished daimater HAS TO BE within a certain tolerance to make it possible for the wheel to be turned inside its housing while not having a huge gap. I do such parts on a regular basis and its not that hard to get it into a .05mm tolerance on a D100mm. The shown 50 -.1 Diameter is perfectly reasonable, and to the detailed on the right side... well whoever needs it on a .0396mm height... should also be able to teach it how to measure it (on the machine ofc) if this cant be done i will apply general tolerances and the profile will be +/- .1mm that also means his R .09 Top-radius is out the window right away...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can rod can be made for( graphtec grit roller) graphtec plotter??? Japan graphtec plotter r best in world comper to any other plotter specially ce 2000 searis...... Were best ...in india there r around 60 lakh plotter of this series .... In store room parts r not available due to 20 year old
