what i really didnt like in this tier list is how he describe a series, you are sure he will put in the s or at least a tier, only for it to be a c, FOR NO REASON GIVEN. he goes "its a good series, and i really enjoyed it, its a fun read. C" meanwhile he goes, "yeah, solo leveling only has visuals to offer, S" it felt very confusing and nonsensical.

Martial artist Lee gwak was so good man, it was about to really get going balls to the walls and then they abruptly ended it and left it on a cliffhanger, honestly fucking hurt. I am not sure why it was so abruptly cut, I doubt it was planned to end there, it probably just didn't perform well enough for them to keep it going, please do fill me in/correct me if I'm wrong. But I really miss it.

I agree with most of the tierlist but for me the biggest disagreement was: Red storm: - Though the story develops slowly and you need to read a lot of chapters to eventualy get to the A tier stuff but you will get their eventualy if you remember the story correctly and look at the panels closely. - You said that it is black and white but i dont think its a minus or a plus its just like a normal manga. - I agree and disagree with the art style being simple sometimes it is but othertimes it has some of the best panels ive ever seen (you need to read quite a bit to reach them) if you look closely at the detail and just how good the drawing portrays whats happening. - The last arc was so interesting with the war and how it develops/ what it affects. I personnaly think that the battles were executed brilliantly. - But for me the best thing this author was able to do that is very difficult and that not a lot of other authors manage to do is being able to kill a character that we were attached to and has been there from almost the beginning of the story. He made it make sense that he died and didn't make a lame excuse, it progressed the main story and the main character also progressed in maturity. - FYI: The main character's master is from another manwha that the author is writing Peerless Dad. ⚠My opinion so dont get mad at me ⚠

I feel like you just couldn't comprehend how deep the story was in red storm or god of highschool like but both are easy S tier red storms story so so deep it's legit easy to get lost in and you fked me up when you said the art was simple iv never seen more detailed art the further you get into the story the better the art gets and way more detailed and God of highschool was a complete and fulfilling story they filled all the plot holes that they made earlier and it wrapped up beautifully

Lee Gwak really got shafted by being incomplete. while the plot was definitely very basic been there done that, ans the art style probably didnt help it's chances, the story was still solid with a lot of potential. A lot of intricate factions that are moving independent of eachother as is this author's strong suit. Hopefully Lee Gwak gets a second chance some day, maybe a remake

you also missed [Again My Life] its the story of a prossecutor who dies trying to bring down a kingpin politician, but is given a second chance at it by a spirit, and returns to, i belive, 2 decades before, its not a bad read, and you might enjoy if you like returner stories, and the fact its set in the real world, and the mc focus on setting things up and conections with diferent people. it feels like a worth read.

I especially loved Leviathan, a solid story, great recommendation, deserved S tier for sure. However, as a newcomer, it really peeves me that I can't find the names to some of these Manhwa since the titles aren't listed anywhere in print, they're only mentioned verbally. Slave B was really good but you can almost pinpoint the chapter someone decided to cut it early because it really rushed to the ending. And then there’s others like Noblesse that went on for way too long. Solo Leveling’s story and Jin-Woo really hold it back for me. Jin-Woo has no personality besides cut and paste “power fantasy MC”. It was a fun power trip though. I wanted to see the next fight so badly I actually went out of my way to read the WN. Bastard was the story that got me into Manhwa and I’m glad a friend recommended it for me. I am the Sorcerer King is admittedly a personal favorite. I want it to be higher on my list as well but it’s another one that you can tell for cut really quickly. The end was rush and the whole Rothschilds side story got completely dropped. I was also one of those people sitting there thinking, “Okay. So next chapter when?!” I held out hope there would be some kind of part two or sequel as well. The Origins was another rushed as well. Terrible pacing, but I loved the fights. It’s like the Origins was all hurriedly put together lore for Dark Lady.

yeah, the way he describes theMC makes no sense. it seems like he is talking about a rapist PoS, but the guy only mistake was an unfortunately joke. yeah in the early chapters we are shown he is a broken selfish individual, and i genuinely hated him for buying that crap with money his mother was sacrificing her sweat and blood to aquire... even as someone who went through a similar situation and lost the will to live for a while i couldnt forgive him. but he does redeem himself later. he does grow as an individual. it feels like he read a 3rd of the manga, and then decided to just skip dialogues and just look at the drawings.

i couldnt stand slave b after the first 3rd. it started with so much potential, but the story feels more about how much punching down on the MC can we get, and it just got so infuriating. it got to a point where i just skipped to the end to see if it was worth it, and, in all honesty, i dont think it was. specially with how generic and bland the ending, well, ended up being. serious disapointment.

im gonna be honest, i dont think solo leveling deserves an s tier. its good, and the art is amazing... but lets be honest here, that's all there is to it, the story is weak, the characters are borderline non existant, and the MC is a piece of cardboard with the depth of a sheet of paper. the story starts AMAZING, but soon drops to become good, if incredibly predictable. but the second half is just trash. i feel like it was a good setup, but i much enjoy the works based on it, like ranker lives twice, the s rankers that i raised or kill the hero.

i love the idea of the video, but i feel like the rankings makes no sense. they dont really stand as quality. to me it should've been something like S- is as good as you can hope it to be, it delivers on its premisse, looks great, and is a great read from start to finish. A- is good, but not perfect, it has flaws, but still a really good read. B- is good, but less so, it has some big flaws, and either starts really poorly, or ends really poorly. C- is mediocre at best, it doesnt have much to offer, but at least does SOMETHING good, be it art or story or characters. not really worth reading unless you enjoy its theme/setting. D- is just not worth reading, just skip it.

Definitely more precise than what i put into it. Something to consider for future lists (looking to make on for best of 2022 soon i may try to integrate something like this

Yeah, if you look on some places the author notes chapter 100 as the end. Very sudden
