Не советую смотреть с субтитрами тк слух так не прокачивается, да без субтитров может быть сложно , но если смотреть регулярно, то вы начнёте все понимать и без них.

Thank you Bridget for another cool video! Very informative and super interesting to know some more about the American history. I'm a big fan of your primary channel, but I really like this channel as well. No matter how many subscribers you've got here I'm sure you will keep doing what you do, because you love it! This must be the most important thing for you and we all can see that. And It inspires us and me in particular! Moreover it improves our English. This is the main reason why we are here - to learn! Thank you Bridget for all your work! P.S.: Regarding the video content, it always amazes me how the people's freedom was being improoved throughout the time. And although some would like to live in another era, I'm grateful that I'm living here. And I'm glad that I have the opportunity to use such an immense source of knowledge as Internet :)

One of the most amazing short documentaries I've seen. Subscribed to the channel immediately. What I really liked of this video is: 1) a good story plot - you've found something impressive and touching to present to your audience, 2) great tour of the history of working class - many of us don't imagine working conditions of people one hundred years ago - how horrible it was and how happy we should be in our days, 3) perfectly matched photo and video fragments with sad repetitive music in the background - to push us to the atmosphere of the event and to make us sense it. You're great with video journalism, and really hope to see more videos like and unlike this one. Enjoyed other videos you already have, too, and the best of them (in my opinion) are also documentary-like videos.

When I worked in The Village would pass this corner twice a day, and have a thought for the tragedy. Many of the young women who jumped held hands with each other. So sad.

Yes, the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire was horrible and impacted future fire codes and workplace safety. Every Firefighter studies this disaster in Rookie School. I think, however, one could argue that the Winecoff hotel fire, which killed 119 hotel guests, on December 7, 1946, is the pivotal event that brought about THE major change in fire safety codes, forever.

I got a real sleep-walking. I don't take a bus home in time when I go home or to sleep somewhere from work. And once I found myself trying to take automatic doors apart from each other when I was riding a suburban train. So what was I trying to do? To go out at full speed? I don't know. Someone woke me up then asking me what was I doing as far as I remember. I was on foot. It's winter and I'm in Russia. May be just my natural sleeping mechanism doesn't work well because I have to fall asleep for one hour or two or for 15 minutes and then wake up with a phone alarm. And my sleeping is just lagging. That's what happens when I am for my working shift away from home. Not every time. Then I finally go home and sleep well with the cats who live with me. I just have to pay for a taxi to get home from work at night - buses don't go there that late. I don't pay so much so I stay in warm places for the whole night and sleep there. Very soon I will quit that job and my finances are OK. But all in all I think it's a good horror story and it's real. A couple times I realized that I was on foot on a sidewalk before the alarm clock ring, not after. Or that I somehow left my sitting place in a suburban train and went somewhere for no reason. Then I realized that and went back. It's the last train, it goes deep at night. And it's a good freezing, it's warm in the train and when you go ouside sleeping little in general the feeling of the frost is I don't know - maximized. So it's a combination of a suffering and delight when you enter the warm place again after some minutes.

Эх, почему бы все видео не переводить на русский? Ведь и людей посмотрят больше и тебе дополнительная практика.. А еще, в русскоязычных видео можно можно было бы говорить про второй канал, упопоминая о том, что тут есть субтитры. Я например не знал что они есть и всё думал: "Я не знаю английский", а как случайно увидел, что есть субтитры, сразу подписался. Так что подумай об этом ;)

I was always captured by the cruelty of this for money basic slavery these women went through when I first heard about it this my heart dropped to the floor this shouldn't have happen as history shows us it still goes on today with senseless people dying over greed, I just noticed this video's great job surprised the building isn't haunted with all the people that suffered in this nightmare I didn't know these women, but my heart loves them all they were all our sisters under Gods laws
