Due to financial pressures, the UK is likely to announce the termination of the GCAP project in early next year.

You're right to point out that the program faces financial and political challenges, especially with the upcoming Strategic Defence Review. We’ll have to wait and see how things develop.

The new labour government has made strong statements that it is very much behind this project. Also, because of the international partnerships involved, I think it would be very hard to backout of with out a lot of damaging fallout. Britain needs to update the RAF, and buying American comes with strings attached. For all these reasons I very much hope to see the GCAP flying one day.

Your timeline is incorrect. Team Tempest’s demonstrator aircraft is due to fly by 2027, but that won’t be GCAP. You’ve fallen into the same trap as many other poorly informed sources online.

Dude also forgot the FAXX and NGAD designs.
