The man ‪@PhelpsontheFly‬ came to visit all the way from Montana! We had tarpon in our sights, and fly rods in our hand. Join us as we venture out around town in search of the silver king. You'll see us fish south florida canals, creeks and salt ponds. Our hopes were high, but the temps were low! The first cold snap of the year rolled in on us and made things a bit strange. But we had plenty fish come to hand despite the sudden change in the atmosphere.

🌴this was a great vid , I’ve watched Phelps vids , and having you guys fish together was great , but it would have been better to have y’all together when you could get out on the flats and hook the big boys , shak’n my head you forgot your fly rod 😄 , you might of warned him ahead of time about being close to the shore and gators , but at least you were getting bites even if it was fire ants😆 hope they got to hang here in Florida for a week or two, you might be able to hook em up on some good fish , might be a good time to get the Jon boat wet, did ya get the registration done yet? This was a good colab. Hope y’all do some more in the future , maybe get up in his neck of the woods , for some trout , just picked up an old bamboo Shakespeare, needs restoration but it’s in good shape at a yard sale I’m guessing it’s a 5 wt , two tips 9’ - $12 bucks 👍🏼
