My Grandfather would give a hat away with purchases at his store years ago .... he even gave one to some who asked. Said it was cheap advertising to have people walking around with his name on their head. Now days everybody calls it "Merch" when actually it isn't --- T shirts used to be given away as well for advertising purposes 30 dollars for a lid is ridiculous , you'd have a ton more out there if you relaxed that price a bit same with T's

Between you and Tight Loops y'all have really pushed a huge revolution in fly fishing media imo. Before it was just flylords, and now there's all these awesome independent cinematic fly fishing channels. I wish I had more people around to film fly fishing with hahaha.

That means a lot dude! Tight Loops is next level and they’re a huge inspiration. More and more talented Fly fishing creators are starting to emerge and it’s so cool to see.

Hey I hope you can feature Paco again in videos. I am impressed with his fishing knowledge and pleasant demeanor. He knows a lot for a college guy. APP State Class of '83. In the old days I could drive 10 minutes from Bowie and whack the heck out of rainbows on a nymph. I introduced a lot of guys to the fly rod, but I never showed them that creek.

Awesome vid guys! I love dry fly fishing! Its cool you guys are fishing small creeks like this. The small creek trout are beautiful and no less fulfilling. Where i live in upstate NY those kind of creeks would have beautiful native brookies. Some of our creeks do have browns and rainbows though too. Love the Ausable river! Amazing dry fly fishing there! Good nymph and streamer fishing there too. Every type of water on the Ausable! I was also fortunate enough to meet Fran Betters when i was up there learning to fly fish as a kid with my uncle. My very first time up there i was using his famous ausable wulff dry fly, he gave me to try and i caught my first dry fly fish (16"brown trout). After that i was hooked! Videos like this make you want to get back out there and fish! Simplicity and being one with nature! Fish on!

The best fishing in my opinion are on these small streams. The fish are aggressive and fun to target. You have to be on your toes when watching that dry. It often gets over looked because most of the are smaller but the scenery is always great and the fishing is just a bonus to it all.

Love the video ya'll stay safe and keep the videos coming. 😀👍👍👍.
