As the founder member of ivanhoe archers in ashby de la zouch leic i remember chris bringing ben along to shoot one of those bows ..i was really impressed . That was 1989..and now im retired both my wife and i have come back to archery as she also shot back in the day .its great to see how merlin as a company has grown a real success story ..buying our archery equipment from burton and using the indoor range is great .

My first compound was a 40" Merlin that I finger shot, a lovely thing. I've always wondered why the bows changed from Merlin to Mybo

I have a very similar looking bow , but nicer looking ( sorry) , on my wall . Is a Jennings arrowstar mark 2 . It still shoots but spends most of its time hanging on my wall next to a old recurve bow

Such a pity the really appealing marketable Merlin branding was replaced with Mybo. Not too late to revert back ? 😉
