@@plantmarksthepot5618 The plant is doing great in water. I have lost some of the variegation due to keeping them in lower light not wanting the water be too hot!

Wait, so was it a cutting from the original plant?

@@plantmarksthepot5618 It was an original soil potted plant. I split it up into 3 plants growing in water for about a year now!

You're too nice, that comment about your video being a waste is wrong. How "much" water really depends on soil composition, pot and lighting. Not sure what that person wanted exactly 🤔 Anyways could you help me? I just got my first chinese evergreen. Its a white rain and she is throwing a hissy fit with her lower leaves turning yellow. I keep her in my own mix soil that I make for all my plants. It's cocoir husk, catcus soil, bark, perlite and worm castings. She is in a pastic nursery pot. I put her about 12inch/1ft under a clip on grow light. The calatheas seem to enjoy that spot. Do you think this is a watering issue or a lighting issue? Mosture meter is reading half way at moist levels so I know its not drying out too quick but not staying too wet either? I watered it about a week ago. I could find room for her under my more intense grow lights if needed 😊
