Concerning this one you will find two different traditions in the Bible, being not only completely different, but being mutually exclusive too: - The older tradition will be that with the death of a person the human body will be dissolved and the spirit or the soul will return to the Creator. - The younger tradition is the resurrection of the dead based essentially on Ezekiel 37. For each of these positions you will find 41 references in the Bible, but you will have to read Ezekiel 37 completely and not only the first half of this chapter, for this will be a picture for the restoration of the people of Israel and has nothing to do with the resurrecection of the dead.

This passage always troubles me as a believer in the trinity. How is the son going to subject to the father if they are equal?? Does that mean Jesus was right when he said the father is greater than I ??? Can anyone here provide a good biblical answer to these questions or point me in the right direction to find them. The resurrection is at Christ second coming 1 Cor 15 23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
