The interaction between Jerrod and Lileath in the End Time's final book was actually pretty good. I feelsorry that the Bretonnians were used that much but there has rarely been a deity as interventionist and as ''caring" as the Lady. She did do a great job with Grail Knights and Damsels. Bretonnia would have been a graveyard without her.

But suddenly she's not even ze Lady anymore she's some other already existing goddess, that's a bit too much. Then they go even further and make her Lilaeth, who's nothing at all like the lady, and who the Bretonnians already know about. I mean... the Grail Knights SEE the lady. They aren't dumbasses. They would know the elven goddess Lilaeth and be able to differentiate between the two. She should have just been a good chaos goddess who was the polar opposite to either tzeench or slaanesh... you know, like we all figured in the first place.

From the little bit of lore that I know I don't think the Bretonnians were betrayed. It's more like a mutually beneficial deal that they made with a benevolent goddess. Also, just because the elves worship Lileath doesn't necessarily make her an elven god right? So, real world example, just because (some) white people worship Jesus doesn't mean Jesus is a "white god", because that would be ridiculous.
