I am endlessly fascinated by the early/pre-republic era, it’s a shame so little exists on what exactly it was like, what the ships looked like, etc. It feels ancient and mysterious... but at the same time they still have kilometer long spaceships and killer war robots. I know this video isn’t directly tied with things like Xim the Despot and stuff, but the time period is vaguely similar.

I like how ambiguous it is to who fired the first shot. It could've been the Jedi who became too radical to let Xendor and his followers live in peace or it may have been the dark aligned legions taking a preemptive strike, either way the war started.

It's thematically satisfying though: do you interpret the Jedi caving into that little seed of darkness that remains in them and striking first, or were the Sith precursors simply acting in the interest of self preservation by striking first? It's Yin and Yang. In darkness there's an ember of light and in light there's a seed of darkness. In the end, they're more similar than they'd admit.

The intention was that Xendor and Arden Lyn were the founders of what, after a hundred-year-long conflict and getting exiled, discovered the Sith species and became the Dark Lords of the Sith. Ajunta Pall was intended to be one of Xendor’s followers. Later, an executive demanded that the Sith begin 7000 years before the movies rather than 25,000 years, so they made Ajunta Pall the founder and Xendor’s schism a separate conflict.

They seriously need to make a few trilogies based on the past. Those would be monster movies that everyone would go see. I always learn so much from you on Star Wars and I thank you for that man. I went and saw Star Wars back when it originally was released and I was hooked from that moment on. Hell still to this day Star Wars is by far my most heart breaking memory. I was part of the Star Wars fan club and back in the day in the 80's if you were a member and sent in your broken toys with enough proof of purchase cut out cards on the back of the packaging of each toy with proof of your membership they would ship you back in a large box brand new toys in their packaging to replace the broken ones. I did this one other time before that so I decided when I was getting too old for toys that I would ship all my toys back and get replacements for them. I semi broke everything I had to qualify for all of the new toys knowing that the replacements would be worth something someday, so I would never remove them from their packaging. I'm sure you can guess it, but a few months later a letter came in the mail for me and it essentially said that the Star Wars Fan Club was no longer replacing broken toys with new toys. To make it all even worse is that they never shipped back my broken toys, they just kept them. I'm still messed up over that. How do you not even ship back my broken toys to me? I was 12 years old when that happened. Damn.

You didn't mention the force hound who crashed on Tython, which in turn cause the great schism which cause the Je'daii to banish the followers of the new sith order. and when the Je'daii took the name Jedi and made a vow to help the galaxy and bring peace. The problem was the Je'daii was about balance ( ashla and the bogan) and the Jedi was about the light side of the force. and the sith went towards the dark. so the great schism is responsible for everything that's happened in stars wars history.

To save the franchise, and fix the disconnection between the first 6 movies and this new trilogy, this is how i imagine the last fight in SW 9 should go: SPOILER ALERT: i'll blow your mind at the end. - Rey and Kylo join ranks, even if they differ in objectives, and come face to face with a cyberniticly enhanced Palpatine, they try to beat him, they fail horribly because in addition to his great power Palpatine is siphoning dark force from Kylo into himself. - Kylo realise how powerful the dark side can be and surrenders to Palpatine's temptation and gets controlled by him - Luke as force ghost appears and tries to awake Kylo but in vain, both Palpatine and Kylo fight Rey and Luke in an epic battle scene - Kylo is knocked off, and Luke and Rey start pushing back Palpatine, then at the last moment before Luke and Rey simultaneously strike Palpatine, a huge discharge of the force goes from Palpatine to Kylo. - Rey thinks they won, but Luke is worried seeing Kylo waking up but instead of being himself, he has yellow sith eyes, and he reveals himself to be Palpatine who managed to learn how to transfer his soul after decades of study and practice, he just needed the perfect host which is Kylo's body. - Palpatine in his new state proves to be a lot more powerful and no one could stop him. - He waves his hand and strikes them both with force lightning until it seems he will kill them, when suddenly a glowing hand catches his arm stopping his lightening, it's Leia as force ghost (who died before in the beginning of the movie because of Kylo's attack). - After a lengthy scene going forth between Leia's warm speech to wake Kylo and Palpatine's attacks/Jedi defense, Palpatine stops, somethnig is wrong within him, his eye is tearing down - After a struggle, a huge burst of light comes from Kylo, he falls on his knees while crying, he is back to normal, Leia and Luke hug him and Leia tells him she never lost hope in him even after she died, Luke tells him he is sorry to be a failure as a teacher, then Kylo hugs them back and tell them he is the one who should be sorry - kylo stands before Rey and tells her sorry too, and everybody start smiling, when suddenly a creepy laugh is heard across the place. - Bursts of lightening start coming from all directions and Palpatine appears as a force ghost, with a burning red aura surrounding him, and tells them he finally achieved it, immortality, he has become the first sith to achieve this state of being, a force entity, thanks to the additional dark force he absorbed from Kylo while being in him. - the 4 stand together and face Palpatine but they fail horribly as Palpatine is toying with them with his force telekinesis and his new red lightening, he has become unstoppable. Then at the end he starts shooting them all with red lightening Luke and Leia are starting to fade as ghosts and Kylo and Rey are badly injured. - Rey alone tries to stand despite her injuries, and shows little by little more resistance to Palpatine's red lightening. - The dark lord is shocked to see such level of power coming from a rookie like her, but shoots tiny force laser beams from his finger at her legs, putting her down on her knees - Then he praises her, and while preparing to throw the final killing blow at her tells her , that if she had met him before when he was the emperor, she might have had a chance to stop him and destroy his plan, as it was his plan all along from the begining when he recruited Anakin, to reach the level of a force entity, using anakin as a vessel, but he was a failure and let himself be burned and cut, and then sacrificed himself in vain. - Palpatine throws a giant force lightening with the intent to kill her, Luke tries to stop the attack but he is too weak and far from Rey, and in a big burst of light, his attack is suddenly deflected by 2 strange figures standing in from of Rey. They are Yoda and Obi One as ghosts. - in an epic music scene, everyone is shocked, as Obi One responds: "No he was not a failure, he is my brother, and he is the chosen one" - Yoda says: "Very powerful have you become Darth Sidious, but lucky us, here, with us, is the chosen one, to end this once and for all", and turns to Rey saying: "Isn't that right chosen one?" - Rey is still shocked and confused, when Yoda hits her in the forehead with his staff while saying: "enough sleeping, wake up already" - A quick flashback of memory start coming into Rey's mind and it is revealed that Anakin Skywalker who was a ghost saw the future and knew his work is not done yet, and that the force is still unbalanced, he said farewell to his 2 companions Yoda and Obi One, and using the force reincarnated himself as a baby, but as a result he lost memory of his old life. - Rey remembered all the hardships and joys of her previous life as anakin. and everythnig started making sens now, why she's is so freaking powerful without training, why she's connected to anakins lightsaber, and why her parents are nobody, but she is somebody, and that the story of Star Wars is the story of Anakin Skywalker. - She becomes one with the Force, floating in mid-air and glowing in white - Palpatine attacks her with all his power, ligthening coming from all his body, from his eyes from his mouth, Rey deflect it with a gesture of her hand, throwing it into space destroying a moon in its path - Palpatine shocked tries to take kylo as a hostage, but Rey with another gesture shuts down Palpatine's connection to the Force. - Papatine says : "No no no it can't be happening, i can't be stopped, i am immortal now, i am the emperor" - Rey opens a black hole vortex inside Papatine's chest and reponds : "and i am the chosen one" - They watch as Palpatine screamis he is being absorbed into the abyss where he will be trapped forever. - After this i'll let you decide on how the happy ending can be
