True, but I also think the GameCube really excelled at water textures, and I think that's why so many GameCube games go hard on watery and aquatic environments. That's why they decided Mario should go to a tropical environment and probably why Wind Waker was so heavily ocean-based. At least, assuming my interpretation is correct, that would make sense to me.

I like him being honest about which games he doesn't like, and he gives clear descriptions of why he doesn't. Furthermore, he is mostly descriptive and only prescriptive in a constructive manner. Don't get me wrong, I love Ceave, but not your comment. There's nothing wrong with making a separate video talking about where they have been all this time. If Ceave chose to do this, then who cares, really? Making a separate video would help let people know where he's been without having to skip to the end of another video, but in the end, it doesn't really matter. I assume that he just didn't want to make a big deal of it is all. But to make it sound like these "other youtubers" (talk about a broad group), are using the situation to milk their audience... In Mario Galaxy 1&2 we have the long jump, as well as the backflip and wall jump + the spin which i believe is quite of a movement for a character. Great video btw (glad ur back)

So, why did Ceave dissappear for months? Well, it's actually *_surprisingly simple_* to explain... ....Covid caused some chaos in Ceave's life, so he had to focus on that first before getting back to working on YT content.

There have been tons of things going on in my life the last year. I sorta theorized a similar thing about the existence of 3D Land/World as sort of a way to "bridge the gap" between the bestselling 2D Mario games with the critically acclaimed 3D Mario games and glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. I also appreciate how honest you are about your original misgivings about 3D World and your understanding of "more limited movement does not always equal bad." Also, while I appreciate the explanation and I'm happy to have you back, Ceave, I want to make sure you know that you don't owe us anything. We love your videos, but we'll be here whenever you need to take a hiatus. Stay safe and sane in these trying times.
