The track wasn't chosen for the LMP3. The schedule was set for the GT4 class before the LMP3 was announced. iRacing decided to use the GT4 schedule for the LMP3 so they could run the open setup series together. From next season the LMP3 drivers will have a say in the schedule.

This car with single monitor is so difficult, a pillar is so big

Oh yes, it's annoying with 3monitors! That hairpin is impossible to see and the last corner you can't see if there is a crash infront! So so horrible/

Control f12 and shift driver to the left slightly or to your liking 👍

Yeah I have seen a few other people do this, move the camera almost to the centre of the car, to me it feels like cheating a little?

Great race Tony! Planning to race this car in the GT4 Open series for my first ever taste of multiclass! I skipped this week - the car/track combo didn't inspire me. Next week at Watkins though will be great!

That was me rally crossing before crossing sides and going head first into the barrier. :( Even trying to play it safe without qualifying you still get the worst of it sometimes. I like the car, but not sure this track was a great opener for it. Anyway, was cool to see you out there and best of luck this season in it.

Fine result. Had a P8 in the Fixed last night after a pretty bad race, started pole in the Fixed and ended up spinning on the last corner lap 1, got hit and ended with 19 minutes of repairs. Enjoying the car so far, hopefully the races stay relatively full as the season goes on. Would love to see you take on the Open, multi-class would make for some entertaining vids.

@@Tdi99 Yeah the other car crushed me pretty good :), I did wait for the 3 minutes of required to complete just to get some experience but the car was barely fast enough to stay in 4th. I've never felt so good after a quali either lol, a full second ahead of anyone with a 1:22.4. The difference between the Open and Fixed setup is massive, was struggling to hit the 1:24s in Fixed.

Yeah 100% the open setup is way faster! Mostly lower fuel 😂😂

I LOVE this car. However it is the first car in iRacing where I have ended up moving the camera slightly off its default driver position - a couple of clicks to the left with the camera in this car really helps with the a-pillar. You need to hide the steering wheel though or the position messes with your head.

Yeah a few people are reporting this! The pillar is huge and annoying! And yes hide the steering wheel otherwise is will be like the radical 😂😂

I know it sound stupid but don't worry about the time difference yet! A good way to find speed is to foucs on the corners that lead onto long straights first. So T3, the hairpin, the chicane, and the last corner. Make sure you are early on the brakes into the corner and early on throttle on exit and you are not pushing the braking points. These corners need good exits because the car will only accelerate at the se rate, so getting on throttle early helps gain time all the way down the straights. The chicane isn a great example, slow into the corner and making sure that second kerb is perfect so we are getting on the throttle for the straights
