This is my favorite Christmas song, and my most favorite arrangement. This Choir and orchestra did a spectacular rendition! My little family of singers, there are 6 of us, but one was on a mission, we were privileged to sing a modified version of Dan Forrest's beautiful interpretation in Church, years ago. It is one of my most favorite memories. Moves me to tears every time. The sweet, little baby, our King, born to us. Merry Christmas to all!

I sang this in a choir last year. I love listening to it now, but it makes me so sad because choirs can't safely sing together anymore. Here's to hoping we can sing this together next Christmas.

it’s two years later! i’m in a high choir class for my highschool. as a senior, i’m so happy i get to sing this song and safely at that. this is the best opportunity i’ve been given. cheers to being (mostly) mask free!!!

My community chorus sang this and O Come All Ye Faithful last weekend. We have also sung his Requiem for the Living. Dan Forrest is a phenomenal composer.

A community choir here in Northwest Montana of my greater involvement in the recent past has put this in their concert repertoire for Fall 2024. I was looking for demo recordings and happened to find this one! Gee, that this been 16-20 years earlier, I would be one of the choristers on that stage, participating in then C-N College choirs for 4 years, then a year of Knoxville Choral Society, all under "Doc"! Sounds lovely!! During my years, we didn't get to perform in the TN Theater but instead in the Bijou, just across the street and down a few blocks. But I did have an office as a summer temp in 1996 "caddy-corner" from the TN theater 3 floors up facing the TN theater and feeling pretty special about it! Missing Knoxville for sure!!
