And I can't even remember the ending and was glad when the credits rolled at the end. I just think film makers are dumbed down now and that this generation are too dumb to make a high quality horror movie. Hereditary for me was a big pile of arthouse shite and it's one of the things that I detest about modern horror movies. The best period for horror movies for me was the 70s.

the reason that paolo didn't 'recognise Margret immediately is due to her hair being covered and her being in a novices habit, he also wanted to avoid her due to what he'd seen and the obvious threats made towards him about telling anyone . As for the first 'birth scene' the vision was a misinterpreted warning about her being pregnant herself . Sister Angelica burning herself and hanging herself is due to the demonic forces protecting the antichirst in the womb , the nun added a fetus to Carlita's drawing and said 'its a boy' in Italian , plus i suspect sister Angelica is Carlita's birth mother and after witnessing another ceramony involving the 'beast' she lost her mind , i think she was used more than once to breed from as Mother superior Silva had gone through menopause .
