By the way go look up how that film was made, it's crazy what they did in some scenes.

Who Killed Captain Alex was a movie made with barely any budget, edited with a computer the director made himself, and made in a 3rd world country. That movie is pretty good, being charming and funny (even if it's for the wrong reasons sometimes). If a bunch of people in the slums of Uganda can make a better movie than you, you've failed as a filmmaker.

One of these actors is LITERALLY my uncle (the guy at 1:36 ). My brother burst into my room to show me. It shocks me 0% because he’s known for being in plenty of weird films. Fun facts about Uncle Randy: •Was once kicked out of an all you can eat buffet for eating only a shit ton of fried chicken. •Would call for his guards as a knee jerk reaction for pretty much any minor inconvenience. •Claims to have guard dogs but they’re 2 lil yippy tiny dogs. •When I was a kid he signed one of his movie posters w/ the ominous message “Can’t wait to meet you” because I told him one of my classmates didn’t believe my uncle was a movie star for me to give to him. Gotta say, I scared the shit out of a fellow middle schooler. •Knew Dr. Suess, and the last few living lollipop kids from the wizard of Oz, of all people. Oh my GOD I just got to his part of the movie in this video and I’m losing it at his campy portrayal of the villain. Yep. There he is. He’s only half putting on a character. He’s kind of just Like That in all the most endearing ways.

That's far too specific for it not to have been a conscious decision, referencing Rover, the gigantic balloon-like object in the 1967 British television series "The Prisoner." There, Rover was a sort of guard used to prevent any member of The Village from escaping their imprisonment in said Village. Did anyone else hear that and make the same connection, or am I just insane?

I’m 99% certain that Bulk was made entirely as a bad on purpose movie. Think about it this film is from a time in which so bad its good movies had been a big subculture. But unlike some out of control passion project or some team of nobodies trying to fight against a micro budget this seems to be a purpose built hunk of junk. It’s like the guy was trying to chase a trend and just tried to make the movie as awful as possible to get attention. Take Tommy and The Room despite being a possibility crazy person and a broken movie it has gained a cult following, made a decent bit of money, and Tommy seems to genuinely enjoy the joy his bizarre movie and behavior brings to people. Now compare that to Bulk and it’s director. The guys comments seems suspiciously like a guy pretending to be out of touch with how bad his movie is to draw attention to him and it. Their is zero passion like the room and he clearly wasn’t fighting a none existent budget given that we don’t see any creative use of props or any home made sets it’s all just low quality out of place bullshit. It’s almost like some incredibly cynical dick who knew he couldn’t actually make something worth a damn found a trend he thought he could cash in on so he made a soulless mess that jerks itself off about how bad it is.
