I loved the Magik issue. It was pretty much everything the first issue of a Magik series should have been. And for all her power, she wasn't treated like a Mary Sue who can do no wrong or has insta-win powers like Jean, Storm and the other Omega-Level mutants.

Your reviews are on point this week! Magik and New Champions look like average fun, while the what ifs have been trash. I’m excited for Aquaman as a reader who has mainly read Batman and Superman DC books. Aquaman seems to have potential, and I think Namor has been okay over at Marvel until about 2003. My current 3 DC books are Nightwing, Flash, and now Aquaman.

Great reviews to keep me up on the books im not reading. I skipped Magik as there are way to many X-men books, and I dont think anyone could get me to read an Aquaman book lol. But im hyped for the fans if the characters to have a new jumping on point! Enjoy the day man & much ❤

Aquaman was great and I've never been interested in the character before either(grabbed the Johns omni a month ago for $30 and that was great too), gets into things quickly and the art is excellent by Tims. Red Band Daredevil but it's Electra and there's not much blood, another genius call by Marvel. Just make an Electra book. These Red Bands have been a joke, Wolverine almost no blood, Blade almost no blood. Just bring back the MAX line and let these creators go wild or get creators like Ennis on the books who aren't afraid to go wild.

What? No eating or drinking in a Marvel comic??? Holy crap! Mark your calendars, fans! That's amazing. Haha! Cool you enjoyed the first issue of "Magik". Hope it continues to be fun for you. Adams is off and running on his "Aquaman" run, but I'm really not a fan of the art in the first issue. It's not terrible, but I was hoping for better. Artists are always changing on books these days though, so maybe future issues will have art more to my liking.

Your point about the New Champions possibly introducing too many characters is my problem with the new JLA title, where it seems in one issue you have the entire DC Universe, haha. I haven't got my copy of Aquaman yet, but your preview has me thinking that it might have a lot of spreads and one page panels, meaning a very quick read for the price. I hope that's not the case, as I'm looking forward to it.

Nobody is paying me anything to review there comic books wether it's Marvel DC Or Independent. Sometimes I do get a book sent to me in the mail to review and they will get my honest opinion they know that when it's sent to me.
