was this edited and reposted? the original was uncut, and had a slip when Leslie calls VW Porsche and mixes it up, then let's an explitive slip. I loved it, and instantly liked him. it shows he is striving to get it right, and a minor error he takes seriously. I guess they had to pull it out, but it made him look more like a car guy than the librarian look he's been sporting for so long. I mean, I know it a museum, but it's cars. man!

Thanks, would be great if you could do a video where you point out the subtle differences between this 901 and the first 911. I saw this car last week in the vault, awesome!

So wonderful these videos by Petersen. Just like the Porsche, precise, no fluff, facts and aimed at the enthusiasts. Thank you

It was an amazing design for it's day and so suitable for further development. Just think from what started here as the 901 benefited later with so much racing technology from the track being brought to the model. To think of a car designed in the early 1960's really coming into it's own on the race track in the 70's and then it's derivatives dominating into the early 80's in really unheard of today. The fact that this car really made it to the 1989 MY is even more mind blowing. Imagine Ford selling the 1964 Mustang that long or the C2 Vette.
