theDIYaddict OK, thanks I don't want to buy the pre cut..pieces..I will ask some one else .I want to use the clear acrylic templates and cut my own....perhaps they will help me to know what size to order.and I think it will be easier to fussy cut..

I am starting and want to ask about the size of templates ypu use .. I have two sets...a 1.38 size ans a 2 inch....my son printed them out for me on his 3D printer in clear plastic...can you give me a size . my book is still not here 😕and so getting tips til it gets here

Hi Terri! I am so glad you are starting. I'm not exactly sure what your question is. the seam allowance I used is 3/8 of inch. I'm a little confused as to what your question is.

I used a 3/8 inch seam allowance around my pieces. Some people use a 1/4 inch but that doesn't leave enough room to fussy cut in my opinion.
