One of the odd things is, particularly with the eldar tanks, in the early 90's those models or at least ones similar to them would turn up on the edges or back of photographs of battles in White Dwarf. Probably because at that time on 28mm scale there were no eldar tanks. Same with the ork battlewagon model, it turned up a lot in pictures along with those red spiked cactus scenery bits they made with cocktail sticks.

Remember them? Hell, I still own a ton of them!, Still have my two warhounds, two reavers, several of each of the Bug Big Four ( Haruspex, Malefactor, Dactylis, and Exocrine), Blood Cauldron, Cannon of Khorne, Phantom, Baneblade, and the Gobsmasha. I was even lucky enough over the years to find one of the rare unreleased Chaos conversion kits for the Reavers, complete with tail.

I still have an unpainted/un-primed Warhound titan!!!! With all weapon options!!!

Warlock titan had the alternate head. Had psychic weapons. There's a Great Gargant somewhere in town and it's HUGE (and has lots of nuts and bolts)

it was like the biggest model for the longest time!

That Reaver titan looks great, compared to the Warhound!

You said "support the channel to keep the channel ad-free", yet there are six (6) ads... What's up with that?
@cakeeater2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes youtube just decided to add in ads, and also there are no ads in this video. So I’m not really sure what you’re on about

Hahaaa. Great bit of retro goodness. Keep em coming.

You got it!
@Rainstater5 жыл бұрын
Your are incorrect. Armor cast was NOT the first to make titans. Mike Biasi Studios was the first. I have the original Reaver Titan made by Mike Biasi Studios. Armor cast purchased and used Mike Biasi studio’s molds and took over the production and sale of the kits.

"It came or it didn't". Lol! Holy shit! Ain't that the truth? Mail order sucked! Great retro vid. I never played 40k back then but I remember seeing those models in stores.

Imagine a time before tracking numbers lol.

I know bro. International tracking still sucks sometimes, but I've been spoiled by Amazon Prime.

When did Armorcast start? because that Ork battlewagon is in the 2nd Ed. books of 40k
@michellebrown16057 жыл бұрын
That's around the time I started buying them.

There was a GW original plastic battlewagon that got retired, supposedly because the mould either wore out or broke. After that happened, Armorcast got permission to essentially recast that basic design.
