From this review and the wugi2 review you posted, I feel you would love the X-Soft Hayate Otsu. That low static friction with great stopping power for those a little more heavy handed. Recommend you try if you haven't, it's a different feel than the soft artisans. If you do a speed pad round up make sure to take that one for a spin first. Great stuff as always!

The Hayate Otsu in X-Soft is one of my favorite mouse pads of all time and a former main. It's one of the pads that's affected my taste in surfaces the most so it makes sense that a lot of what I praise in other pads can be found in the Otsu. I'm not particularly excited to make a dedicated review on it, but I'll be making a general pad roundup and an artisan-specific roundup Soon™ where the X-Soft Otsu will be heavily featured in both.

@KraftyKraft I have a few questions bro 1. Which mouse do you perform the best with? 2. Which mouse do you perform the most consistently with? 4. Which mouse is the most comfortable for long term use? 3. What is your dream mouse? (Wireless M2K, Wireless ZA13, etc.) Thanks :D
@KraftyCraftKraf2 жыл бұрын
My top performer right now is the s12 small. 40g wireless is incredibly addicting and the shape is god-tier so it performs incredibly well. The only issue is that the small size doesn't have much stability so it can get a little shaky and inconsistent at times. I'm really looking forward to the za-shaped back shell mod that infinity mice is going to come out with soon because that should fix this issue altogether. But, in the meantime, my most consistent option has been the s2. It's boring as hell and has no quality issues so the mouse just disappears in my hand and I can completely focus on the game. The shape encourages a very relaxed grip so there is zero jittering as well. The most comfortable mouse for me is the Xlite v2 by a mile. Its shape is insanely comfortable and the lightweight wireless plus glass feet combination is so effortless to use that there is never any strain caused. The np-01 also deserves a shoutout here but its starting to get too heavy for me to be comfortable with. It's actually pretty hard to say what my dream mouse would be. A wireless m2k with the same weight would obviously be insane and if that is released I would likely hard commit to using it exclusively. The performance potential there is just too much to pass up. However, I think a more practical dream mouse would just be a lighter g303se or a fnatic bolt with logitech's coating. The g303se isn't too heavy like the np-01, but I would be much more comfortable with it if it could come in at 60g. Then the bolt is basically my perfect relaxed claw shape, but I can't properly evaluate how it performs because of how horrifically slippery it gets after one match. I've always felt there is so much wasted potential there so it would be incredible to breathe some life back into that mouse.

@@KraftyCraftKraf Also, i wanted to hear your thoughts on ergo vs symmetrical mice. If I’m not mistaken I thought you said in one of your videos that you perform the most consistently with ergo mice (even if your aim doesn’t always feel as precise). If so, what ergo mouse would you recommend? For your recommendation please disregard whether the mouse is wired or wireless. I do heavily prefer wireless mice but wired mice can always be modded to become wireless using Logitech internals or something similar). Thanks :)

What mousepad would you recommend for a full size desk pad? (1200mmx550-620mm) I'm running a custom-print xray thor pad and definitely want to get something that doesn't have a coating like this one did. I've been looking at the AC2 and Venus so far.
@KraftyCraftKraf2 жыл бұрын
AC2 and Venus are both really solid pads, but the desk pad that I've been running is the new infinity v2. The designs and colors pop so well and the general quality is quite nice. Its surface is also a surprisingly good take on a more toned-down and safe approach to a hybrid speed pad. It's not available in the size you wanted, it's going to be a bit smaller, but I would highly recommend it if you can compromise. If not, the venus is still one of the best pad sufaces that I've ever used. The only issue is that I can't vouch how well it works as a desk pad. I fear that it might be a little too abrasive to be a comfortable desk surface.
@ShinobiYourHomie2 жыл бұрын
@@KraftyCraftKraf The price on the infinity v2 is really competitive. I already purchased the Venus and I'm waiting on it to come in, but I might have to try out that infinity v2 with the new viper v2 pro I just picked up. Thanks for the reply!

@KraftyCraft When your trying to make precision shots with the first war does it seem a bit difficult or it still provides enough control where its easy it it small targets and be consistent without putting too much downforce on the mousepad? For example 5 sphere hipfire extra small on kovaaks or like heads in valorant? Currently I'm on the Saturn, it feels amazing but I would like something a bit faster with some control where it's easy to hit precise targets

vaxee did send me out a PB that i’m in the process of testing now. i’ll try to get out a full review with my thoughts on the surface and how it compares to other top control pads within a week. in the meantime, i can say it’s been feeling fantastic. not sure if i enjoy the PA more in game or not, the the PB is much nicer to use and gives me a reason to use a pad that’s slower than i usually prefer.

Hello! I'm debating between the zowie c3 and g303 shroud. I'm looking to have one and be done for a while. Which mouse would be more comfortable for long periods? Even for productivity.
@KraftyCraftKraf2 жыл бұрын
zowie’s ec line have always been insanely comfortable mice that perform great in game while the g303 is highly angular and requires a more aggressive grip which can be fatiguing, so for productivity and gaming i would have to recommend an ec mouse. if you have smaller hands or tend to curl your fingers more in your grip, get the ec3. if you’re more relaxed and want your palm filled out, get the ec2. if you have massive hands or want maximum contact in a full palm grip, go for an ec1.

Hope they do global shipping soon, I think this is probably what I want. Great review as always, the way you're able to put how the pad glides into words is second to none. Not sure if you've tried the aqua control ii before(or the old ac+ black), the texture seems similar to this. I tried using my old ac+ black recently with glass skates and I think I like it more than the hien now, when it wasn't the case on corepadz. I think the one minor thing I disliked about glass skates on the hien was how it occasionally felt too heavy(tactile?) when changing directions, though I do not get that on the old ac+ black. Might just be that my hien is more worn out, not sure honestly.
