@@ddf5878 nope unfortunately, Goliath grouper are endangered, you can't even pull it on the boat legally. Just gotta cut the line (we use hooks that dissolve after a week). I've heard they're full of parasitic worms anyways so you wouldn't even want to.

My father in law used to work on an offshore oil rig (up until about 2 years ago) and on their down time they fished. They were about 100 miles out and he was fishing from the lower platform about 25 feet off the waters surface. He caught a grouper this size I think he said about 200 pounds or so and it took him plus 5 or 6 other guys to get it reeked in and up to the platform. He had it processed and brought home and we ate on that thing for weeks. Delicious.
