Brave Soldi3r It is because of Kessel's atmosphere, it is bad for Pyke physiology and bodies, so Quay in Solo is partly damaged and has cybernetics

I still want to see a Black Sun story centered around Ketsu and Sabine, maybe a Last Shot style multipart book that covers the job that split them up and a new story set during the GCW. Maybe Black Sun makes a move on Lothal in the absence of the Empire? Maybe guest starting Enfys Nest in one or the other stories if she's still alive either five or ten years after Solo?

I'd put my money on the Crymorah Syndicate being the fifth. It's an alliance of multiple gangs, including the fairly powerful Droid Gotra.

I think Dryden Vos was one of the Mandalorians that remained loyal to Maul (hence the armor in the background) & for that, he was awarded the leader position of Crimson Dawn

mo maj I know the Mandalorians are xenophobic but I doubt they're not gonna let Dryden in just because of his markings. Pretty tame compared to Rodians & Weequays. For his armor, they are old but that doesn't mean he hasn't worn it in recently

mo maj I just looked it up & the canon wookieepedia says "Mandalorians were a predominantly human ethnolinguistic cultural group who originated on the planet Mandalore. I really love the underworld crime element in Star Wars, and I was really glad that Most Wanted focused more on the Droid Gotra after they were introduced in Last Shot. I'm hoping to see them in more canon material, and I think that if anyone we've seen so far, Gotra is the most likely to be this fifth syndicate you were talking about

This is why I wanted so badly for Solo to be a box office success. I was hoping the franchise would get a chance to explore the underworld more. Unfortunately it flopped, undeservedly so... and now we may never get a chance to see more developed pirates, gangsters, smugglers, or bounty hunters on the big screen. I think Bossk was going to be in the sequel.

I think the 5th is intended to be the Droid Gotra. They have been getting a lot of mentions recently and seem to be pretty big (in Most Wanted they offered an obscene amount of credits for the holocube)

I wonder if the fifth is the Sun-Tuul Pride. In the first Darth Vader comic they were portrayed as a rival of the Hutts, so pretty powerful, till the Empire broke them up as part of the post-Yavin clampdown led by Tagge.

The 5th syndicate could be the zygirian slave empire as we know they were on the rise during the clone wars. I know a facility was destroyed but it is possible to assume that a slave empire would have more than 1 outpost. And anyone could take over from the queen

Please respond if you know what I'm talking about but I just had a question about certain Star Wars books. I have never really been a big fan of Star Wars books but would like to wet my feet on some of them and I was thinking about reading the Lando and Han trilogies (by L. Neil Smith and Brian Daley) but didn't know if they were just adventures or life altering stories where Han gets married and has children and stuff. I would enjoy them much more if they were strictly adventures and not stuff about Han's children and grandchildren.

The Maul cameo was cool and all, but it scares me. Star Wars Rebels was the conclusion of Maul's story, and the movies are now gonna almost inevitably change that. And thus, the New Canon is broken.

Wait, how was Black Sun seen or mentioned in Solo? The other 3 syndicates you confirm in this video to have been in Solo were indeed visible or mentioned in the film, but for Black Sun you don't give what the connection to the film was, and I don't recall seeing or hearing about them in the movie. Are you including them here just because they were Shadow Collective colleagues with the Pikes which we DO see in the film?
