Not sure why people get weird about the legacy hammer. I know Engin is running a promotion but oh well - if the athletes want to exchange other side trophies, what’s it to him? It’s a made up trophy and it brings value to the sport. The fact that Travis, along with other WAL winners, have a collection of hammers really proves the point. It’s always a 1 time thing and you get a medal or some other type of trophy and top guys with longevity have hundreds of them. A trophy that will last through time and be passed from champion to champion is a great thing. Travis is just salty he quit and can’t get his name on it lol. Yeah - he won those other hammers. This isn’t representing who won that year in that class in that league. It’s for the whole sport and for the future.

To undermine and discredit Levan's performance with these 'what ifs' are exactly the nonsense talk he mentioned earlier in the podcast. The moment someone can't accept their defeat, they revert to hypotheticals to reinforce thin arguments, which ultimately mean nothing (re the Ermes win). Ermes looked amazing, but the goalpost on amazing against Levan is not getting pinned in seconds, so anything more than that is treated like a victory - again, same as the 'one round' point Levan made. Its pathetic and flawed logic, childish mindgames to get a scrap of credence, and smacks of desperation from 'anyone who knows anything about aw'.

bodybuilders and lifters injure themselves ALL THE TIME with sub-maximal weights. Levan didn't injur Devon so much as Devon got injured. Whether it was overtraining, the compounds he was on or for whatever reason, he tore a muscle. It doesn't mean he wasn't strong enough. If Devon hadn't been injured, he likely would have won, and that's a fact. Round 1 wasn't even a pin.
