No xD The change on his voice is great but for me the real reason why I'mma skip him is gameplay. He can't knock up bosses, doing all those cool stuff midair is more risky than rewarding. (Without knock up, you're forced to break bosses shield first before executing midair combo) Maybe, if kuro adds a buff on his resonance liberation that allows lingyang to knock up bosses for 10s, be it on sequence or forte.

Omg I haven't heard his old voice before! The voice is so jarring coming out of his mouth, lol. Before this, i had only heard his new one in the trailer. But like you said, it's definitely a case of bad voice direction rather than bad voice actor, lol. It's like giving a toddler character an old man voice. It just doesn't work no matter how good the va is. I am so glad they changed it because I've loved Lingyang ever since I saw his design. As someone who always uses the english dub if its available, I couldn't stand it if they gave a character with such an awesome design and a cool-looking playstyle a voice as unfitting as that. Would've done him so dirty.

oh my gosh i agree please we need more skins especially for the MC, I have played quite a few gacha games and I'm so surprise that character driven story gotcha don't have more skins to capitalized on. but! knowing Kuro with their game PGR i am really keeping my hopes up that we will get a lot of skins and really good ones to if they decide to go the same rout as PGR. also love his new voice now im fully on board on trying to get him!

There are no elemental reactions in the game. Only concerto effects of the characters and elemental resistance for each monster.

the only reaction those elemental thing do was an immunity to damage for some monster, like if you use spectro/light element towards spectro balls, they'd be immune and can't be damaged, but so far only spectro/light, electro/lightning, glacio/ice and fusion/fire that have those immune type monster

Honestly as someone who tends to play Devil's Advocate and also White Knights I was about to defend Lings proto voice-- Till I really heard it.. and yes as a VA I could definitely not have been interested if they kept that voice so I'm really happy they changed the direction change the direction. Also when it come to OwO I sincerely hope they don't scrap the entire model. Maybe they could be Lings twin brother, owo what just happened to have more of the animalistic features compared to his brother plus it would also give ling family connections as well as expand upon Lings story. I can't say I'd go out of my way for him but if I got him I wouldn't complain because he is really adorable. Overall I'm just really excited for the release

If you don't play their other game PGR: they actually do beta tests for every single patch. They frequently respond to beta feedback to adjust how characters play and one time they even removed a lady's hat from the final version because people didn't like it haha. They may not do that level of beta testing for WuWa, but what I can say is this is very in character for Kuro! It's great to see them continue this even with a new IP.
