I always loved skins for ridiculous achievements. A way to show off but also to show commitment to a character. Like defeat 1000 calamity class enemies as Jinhsi. You know something that would take a massive amount of time but well rewarding afterwards. Either way i hope that skins become popular and release more frequently than Genshin. It's an untapped market in an open world gacha game and from my experience people will pull for a character just to get certain skins. Thanks for the ray of hope

YES!!! In pgr, free skin can be obtain using its own currency. So maybe once the store open, we could do weekly comm for linglong (or maybe daily if the reward are too little) in exchange for the currency. I just hope if kuro release free skin, it wouldn't be time gated.

If kuro games implements skins the PGR (or Nikke) way they could potentially double their revenue. And since it’s in a post apocalyptic setting, they’ll have more creative freedom on outfit design than compared to genshin’s fantasy outfits.

I feel like the Series in PGR are more akin to collection rather than brands, considering that the WGAA are the only ones that designed them (with a few exceptions like Noctis's alt). Like say a summer collection of a fashion line. Though, I'd love to see what kind of fashion brands KURO will spoof off for WuWa. Like imagine a high-end brand like Versace, Chanel or LV and then you have the winter fashion brands like Columbia, the North Face, Uniqlo, etc.

i know you often make videos like this but i'm still amazed every time you do because it shows how much attention to detail you have in-game. i guess it's reasonable to expect skins whenever a "festival" patch comes around but since we won't seem to get them at this point, skins probably will start dropping when we get to another City or a major hub to set the theme. perhaps an earnable and free Black Shores uniform for Rover, and maybe the powerpuff girls when we get to Black Shores Island? i'm definitely looking forward to that.

Another thing that would be interesting is if the characters had a "Fashion for the area" so once new areas are introduced if you prefer a new areas fashion sense, you could buy (Shell credits / Astrite / Paid Gems) the characters "look" for that area. Maybe make it part of the story about blending in with the new area.

My theory on Yinlin is that she'll have a new identity with a different element / weapon / skin in each main area of the game, and hopefully have a new personal story in each area. Whether you'll earn that new identity through questing or Gacha remains to be seen

Skins that would definitely be wonderful to add are swapped Rover outfits. Basically making Female MC look covered, cool, and slick. While Male MC will be extra charismatic and confident 😉. Of course they have to make make new outfits, not just swapping the defaults.

Calcharos merc uniform skin, in the lore it actually states that Calcharos clothes are Jiyans, he gave them to Calcharo because his Federation clothes made him stick out too much which means he must have like a uniform or something with his merc band motif. A sexy gala dress for Yinlin with Zapstring being like a golden and silver puppet. A combat uniform for Mortefi or something with a more obvious fire dragon motif. Changli needs...nothing, she is absolute perfection.

In PGR at least, each SFX coating has an accompanying weapon coating you can purchase. Weapon skins would be pretty awesome in WuWa considering how few weapon types there are.

Best way to describe my taste of skins are the one who completely change their color theme. No hint of the color that the char is associated just put them into new clothes and perspective. Best skin I compare was the Blue Rose Alpha (rip global) I was baffled how she looked so good in blue. If they but them into more clothes and less revealing I think it's an added bonus, I want to look my chars tacticool.
