Hi Grant Cook nice video as always :D. When are you gonna make the freezing people effect?. You did Sub Zero freeze blast and Mr.Cold Freeze Blast but you let us with the question of how to actually freeze someone. Hope you can make it someday :D.I can actually make it but is with a ice image and rotoscoping but it looks kinda cheap could you make it better?. I know making realistic freeze effect is hard but you are GRANT COOK! I know you can make it :D.

I’ll be honest - this was a pain in the butt to make, I just experimented for weeks to get it looking the way it did. I never made notes on the progress or all the settings I changed along the way and I really don’t want to torture myself reverse engineering it to make a tutorial on it. Hope you understand.

Luke & Dad Productions I created two versions of the breach in Cinema, one with a clear texture and one with a glowing Smoky texture - I then combined them in AE

Film Learnin thanks for replying. But I downloaded your pack and both breaches already have the blue glow in the middle. The c4d file didn't seem to have that(I'm not good with c4d) so I'm duplicating using element 3d. And I've got a decent approximation but not sure how to stick a blue glow coming from the middle since its a 3d object and I don't think a masked solid would do the job? Thanks again for replying.

To anyone who has the problem where when they pre-compose the breach, the background is not there with it, just do the lighting effect in the pre composition and for the transparent effect simply do the steps but above your actor layer
