The Flash Massive COPE As Movie DIES - Media MAD

The Flash review of the latest cinema movie with Ezra Miller's Flash for DC. Box office numbers for The Flash week 2 release of the DCU movie are out, and journalists are not happy. While the audience praised Michael Keaton's return as Batman, the media think it overshadows Ezra Miller's Barry Allen flash.
Did Sasha Calle take away vital screen time from The Flash himself, should Wonder Woman and Ben Afflek's Batman have been cut? Are the cameos the problem? How did the audience decide if DCEU's The Flash is worth watching?

The Flash has officially had DC's worst 2nd week box office drop ever. When you start competing with Morbius for disastrous performances, you know you're in trouble. But the media is always on the ball ready to run interference for the real reasons why no-one was interested. But even I never expected them to start blaming the fans, saying it was bad because they got what they wanted! It was actually Michael Keaton's Batman that ruined the movie. That's a new one, but really shows how far they're willing to go to maintain the narrative. Even when the numbers make a movie demonstrably awful, this has Ezra Miller, so we have to defend The Flash. The real problem is the movie was great, but people are put off by other things... But what did you think of The Flash? Do you think Ezra Miller affected the profitability, or is it down to other things? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

There is no heroism in this movie. None except Supergirl. For the six seconds she explains why she was sent to Earth and how she failed and then she gets killed, that was the best the movie could do. Contrary to popular opinion, I'd have preferred this to be a Supergirl movie than Flash or Batman. The fact that they keep reusing Man of Steel should tell you that these folks are out of ideas, period. And reading comic books is out of the question because its too much work. This isn't THE Supergirl, sure. And her costume sucks, sure. But she was the only character that showed some emotion. Keaton in a Batsuit is a good selling point. Bit THAT isn't 1989 Batman. I do not believe any Batman would walk into a room, look at an imprisoned, dying young woman and go, "Oh, its not Clark Kent. Waste of time. Lets go!"

I refused to go and I don't feel less enriched by not going. I can't in good conscience watch and financially support an Ezra Miller movie. Didn't like him when they first introduced him and loathe him even more now. People just stand by their principles. What really gets me though is how the media is always saying how we need to separate the actor from the character (which is their way of saying not to have principles) with Amber Turd and Crazy Ezra. However, using Umbrella Academy as the perfect example, when Vanya's actress wanted to become an actor, they changed her from Vanya to Victor instead of just recasting Vanya. Hollywood can't separate the actors from the characters themselves. They just want us to lower ourselves to their level. No thank you. Didn't watch that season of Umbrella Academy either. Principles are the hill we choose to make a stand and die on. I made my stand. Pretty sure plenty of other people are doing the same thing.

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman draw audiences. If it weren't for them leaking the cameos I doubt it would have done as well as it did. I'm one of the ones that stuck it out on the CW. If you pointed potential viewers at an episode or two of the final season they could catch for free before checking out the movie, most of them wouldn't have bothered with the movie, even if they didn't know what a stand up human being Ezra Miller was. My disdain for feeding such an ego outweighs my morbid curiosity. I'll pass. The world is a mess and they ended up casting a star that is ethically challenged and doesn't even bother to hide it. They knew Ezra's PR hurt them. I wonder if some of the cost cutting at the end was because they knew EM had burned them and wanted to at least cap their losses. I don't have super hero movie fatigue. I'm fatigued by bad movies and Hollywood's depravity.
