I think Barry has created the gideon in future . As reverse flash once said , 2 centuries from now he got the power of his own . And at that point of time Barr allready has powers . That was a reference to Jesse Quick, who goes by Jesse Chambers in the comics. The Jess Chambers they gave us is a non-binary spinoff who didn't even exist until last year. So no way season 5 predicted that.

I got the sense that Max Mercury actually knew what the lightning was. Would be a interesting story if he previously had the speed force (before Barry), then somehow lost it, and now Barry had given it back to him. Also: a missed opportunity, one of these could have been Jesse Quick, giving her a new origin on Earth Prime?

Agreed 100%. I felt that the Red Death story arc was just complete trash and filler (which is so disappointing for me). I would have preferred Eddie as the villain for the whole season with maybe extended cameos from Zoom, Reverse Flash, Savitar and Godspeed. Also, as a bit of a side note.. by the end of the lightsaber duel in season 7 Barry is so fast he practically undresses Thawn. Since we know he can beat Reverse Flash without even trying at this point then how are the other 3 speedsters Eddie brought back any kind of threat at all? Zoom should be a joke to Barry. Savitar also should be an easy win at this point. Godspeed was always sort of a joke on this show but in all seriousness, Barry can go into Flashtime like when he stopped the nuke AFTER it exploded and just knock them all out while simultaneously enjoying a cup of tea.

Right, Eric Wallace really doesn't know how to build high stakes. He always has the villain say they are going to destroy the timeline of whatever and make an impressive light show, but they never actually do anything of substance and it's over in minutes.

The story of the last 4 episodes maybe could have been about creating & training these new speedsters while dealing with all the returning evil speedsters (who would have showed up earlier) than squeezing them all in one episode.

I truly enjoyed the ending a lot better than the final battle. Especially with Barry telling baby Nora West-Allen about the Flash origin and running through the streets of Central City giving the SpeedForce to Avery, Max and Jess. The fact that I actually saw these characters and will never see them in suits or in this universe again, I feel CHEATED, because it felt like a cliffhanger in a way. The ending scene I would've done will still have the 2023 scene with Barry holding baby Nora in the loft but flashforward to the year 2030 with Iris being pregnant with Bart. And then 6 or 7 year old Nora West-Allen starts speeding around the loft and Iris tells Barry to take her on a run and we the audience see them running through the future streets of Central City.

I am happy with the ending, mainly the final scene. This season could have been so much BETTER tho. I enjoyed the finale! But I was disappointed it wasn’t an extended episode, seeing as though it was the last EVER episode 😢. Loved that all the speedster villains were in it! However, it was a shame they got killed so quick though 😖. But I guess there’s only so much you can cram into a 42 minute show, and they did cram in alot 👏. How weird was it though, Nora holding baby Nora 🤱🏻. I was half expecting a Paradox to happen or something 😬. Just read that the actor who played Max previously appeared in season 1 in Flash vs Arrow as a street punk. So perhaps retroactively Max appeared all the way back then. Would have liked to see more of Max because of the history there, maybe have seen Jesse in a flashforward in the future. Avery would have been interesting if Bart was brought back to see how they interact given for her ten years had passed.

The sharing the Speed Force was abit rushed. If he had the ability to work create speedster then why hasn't he done it before with members of team flash. It would of been better to have this new worlds storyline through the entire season. And not bother with red death and spend time with evil speedsters. Cobolt blue looked rediculus and should of used reverse flash as the avatar of the negative speed force.

It wasn't the best finale ever but not the worst what annoyed me the most is that they brought catlin snow back when khione acended (which was great) but missed as massive opportunity to bring frost back, they could of had them both their (khione being a goddess and all) or made it that snow and frost shared a body again (and elude to the fact that at some point they'd be seperated again) all that could be done with a wardrobe change and a couple of lines of dialogue and i dont know why they didnt do that

Imma be real but besides the beginning and the end of the episode the finale was a letdown the misuse of fan service villains ruining them Cecile feeling that Godspeed is scared cringe. Allegra one shotting RF. And I feel like not many pointed this out but the way Khione’s dialogues are written or the way she talks pisses me off she sounds like an NPC😭. Also why was the proposal the focus at the end of the episode. Overall idk man this show was a part of my childhood and I will miss it but Fr they did ruin it

I think that was the whole point of the ending. Ending it in a positive and good place which it did and Barry creating new speedsters so he wouldn't be the only 1 endangering himself all the time and changing his fate. I don't think I would have been up for spin offs, it's been a great 10 years and am just interested in seeing Superman and Lois, which I hope they will continue and not get cancelled and Gotham Knights :)
