These pancakes are legit!! I’ve gotten so many compliments. You can cut the oil in half. I use whole wheat flour, add a tsp of vanilla, cinnamon and a tbsp of flaxseed. They are delicious! Thanks Liv!

I tried this. It's really good. I'm not vegan but I'm out of milk and eggs and I had a craving for pancakes. I saw this recipe and I just used homemade oat milk instead of almond milk(because I don't have almond milk), it worked just as well. And guess what? this recipe is not only healthier but also enabled me to save money. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Just a little tip: I heard that soy milk is better for making buttermilk because it has more protein. I haven't tried it with almond milk so I don't know how they compare, but that's just what I heard. Take from it what you will :))

You're right I had the same experience with oat milk. Soy milk gets much thicker :)

Yes the ACV makes the soy milk look pretty weird but thats the effect you want that has something to do with the protein i am a pancakes and waffle addict 105% soy always for a consistency that is spot on and not rubbery and flat or whatever. Itll taste and be of totally normal consistency! What i do since im more sensitive to soy milk i freeze cubes of the stuff keep it in a bag and defrost 2 for if im making it for just myself and 4-6 if im making for myself and a friend. And the rest of a small bowl (probs = 1c but idk) is almond milk add the ACV stir and you got the fluff with out using all soy milk

These are no question THE BEST pancakes ever!😍 Most of the time I just can’t get the pancakes to cook through completely (especially when they’re supposed the be “fluffy“; therefore thicker). But these did cook through and the whole process of making these was overall really relaxed: nothing burnt (major tip: if u don’t have Cooking spray, spread the oil thinly with a baking/cooking brush or maybe even tissues!), not messy whatsoever: everything turned out like it was supposed to. I ate half of the recipe (made 4 small pancakes) with fruit and syrup and I felt great afterwards, whereas normally i feel quite sluggish after eating pancakes.. Also: I used sugar free oat milk and as stated it worked great! I’m so happy!! :))

I actually made my meal plan for this upcoming week and every Sunday I like to make a nicer breakfast for my husband and I. And I legit had pancakes and Morningstar bacon for this Sunday so this is perfect! These are amazing, they are the easiest pancakes to make and they turned out fluffly and not undercooked. I had never tried vegan pancakes before and I just can't believe how good these are. I would suggest resting the batter for a few minutes and adding a drop of vanilla.

thanx Liv.tried it.it worked.my goodness.although i accidently put a tspoon of apple cider vinegar straight into the dry mix.than i mixed in the almondmilk 2 keep the directions together.so an extra tspoon of ACV in probably changing the taste ever so slightly.thanx again.

Just made a half batch of this (all for me!) and they were amazing. I've been to 'whole foods' lately and have been trying to reduce some of my fibre intake and this really takes the 'cake' ;). So simple but so good. I added some soy yoghurt, microwaved frozen berries and some maple syrup.

Just came here to have a review on her recipe xD 9/10 THEY ARE REALLY FLUFFYYY :> I don't know if it is because of the baking powder ratio that makes these pancakes fluffy or not, but who cares hehe, they bounce back heavenly with every bite I took so I am super satisfied :3 Thank you . ps: reserve some of the wet ingredient, you might end up with a too wet batter if you pour all of them at once

Wow - I tweaked this with about 1/3 buckwheat flour, used soy milk, and added chocolate chips (fair trade - truly vegan, cruelty-free!). No syrup necessary. Absolutely delicious and fluffy and even a bit crispy on the outside.
