i literally was just thinking about this controller and i sold on this now. i was gonna get the fly digi Apex 4 pro but this one looks way better for all black for almost 100 dollars less. The paddles are the only thing i was gonna be worried about but you made me less worried now so thats good. Great review wolf you sold me on this :)

@@EverestZane That's awesome! Yeah, I wasn't sold on the Apex 4, especially with the trigger stops not ACTUALLY being trigger stops. Also, you have to remove a bunch of parts to adjust the tension of the sticks. And there's been a lot of issues around the build of the sticks. All for more expensive. Vader 4 Pro takes it in my opinion. I would love their next controller to have more traditional mouse click paddles (like the Razer Wolverine V3), but regardless, the back buttons and their placements are not detrimental to the point that you can't get used to them and be effective with them :) Glad it helped!
@EverestZane2 ай бұрын
@@OmnicientWolfGaming yeah the paddles and Trigger stops were The main thing's i was looking into. The trigger stops on the Apex 4 pro aren't actually trigger stops. I saw a bunch of people saying that they can still press past what they set the trigger stops too. Another Good selling point was the stick tension. I've never seen a controller have the adjustable stick tension like this controller has, i dont even think its on another controller. I really cant wait to get this controller now, thanks for the help and the great review.

I returned my KK3 Max as well, this was several months ago, so i got a Vader 3 Pro. The V3P is better in almost every way. I'm sure the V4P will be even further ahead. Already ordered one. The paddles on the KK3 stick out too far, way more than on the Elite Series controller, so they're not conformable. The KK3 triggers also feel and sound very cheap when they're locked, and the D-pad just isn't good enough for fighters, where as the V3P and now the V4P both have top tier D-pads. I also had connection problems with the KK3. It's just considerably worse overall but cost me more.

I tried that controller, just found it too bulky for my hands (hence the not comfortable part you mention for me lol). I can honestly say that this is the best pro controller I've used. I probably would still prefer their rear button placement to be closer to each other (Elite Series 2 style paddles/button placements), but it's fine and doesn't take long to get used to.

@@OmnicientWolfGamingI am still interested in the Razer offering (I can not remember the model ) Funny thing is until I held and used the Vader 4 in some competitive environments (BF 2042) I would have said the TM eswap was the best. As far as the rear button go for me at least , I find them to be in the perfect position for my grip. Individual grip and difference in hand size at the end of the day is what will make a pro controller have a measurable impact on individual performance. That being said if you suck then no controller is going to fix that . Only grinding a game will fix that . Sorry I yelled about controllers :)

Thank YOU for not being a Potty Mouth like that grown a** "kid," on Gamer Heaven who reviews controllers as well. Hard to get through the details of his reviews with the distractions of him stupidly cussing a lot. Awesome review Bro! What do you think of this controller vs. the Vitrix? I have the Vitrix Pro and if it's not worth changing/ upgrading, then awesome. New subscriber here!!!!
@OmnicientWolfGaming4 ай бұрын
@@THE.MICHAEL.ANGELO To be fair, his reviews are much more robust, but I appreciate the sentiment nevertheless! 😄 Oof, I've never used the Victrix Pro, I changed/upgraded from the Victrix Gambit. This definitely costs less than the Victrix Pro, but arguably has better features overall including hall effect sticks/triggers, stick tension adjustment, and a quick polling rate. That being said, just by the looks of it, the Victrix Pro looks like it has better rear button placements and it's kind of neat that you can replace modules if they go bad. Theoretically, the Vader 4 Pro should never develop drift. Overall, I'd have to give it to the Vader 4 Pro when looking at it from cost-to-performance. Hope that helps, and appreciate the sub!
@THE.MICHAEL.ANGELO4 ай бұрын
@@OmnicientWolfGaming Yes, he is definitely robust. Maybe a little too much for my taste. LOL. As for the Vitrix Pro's ability to replace the modules, in my opinion, you'd really have to beat/ abuse the controller for them to even go bad, unless it's the circuitry, but really good to have that ability when/ if needed. The Vader 4 Pro's tension adjustment is what got me, as-well-as all the features that you mentioned. Thank you so much for the reply. I'm going to go ahead and purchase one. I"d might as well.
