In the world of Naruto we've been introduced to countless ninjutsu, some so powerful that they are expressly forbidden from ever being used and others are so overpowered that they directly violate the laws of nature itself. In most cases, when a shinobi is passed down a jutsu from the older generation, they find a way to make the jutsu their own, similar to how Sasuke created new variations of the chidori and Naruto created new variations of the Rasengan. However, not all ninjutsu are created equally. Even in the world of Naruto there are some S Rank jutsu that are more deadly than others. The Reaper Death Seal can seal away even the mightiest of foes into the belly of the reaper death god, which is partly why the Uzumaki were so feared for their plethora of sealing jutsu, but then there's the flying raijin jutsu. In the hands of a generational talent like Minato, this jutsu became so overpowered that a do not engage order was placed on Minato during the third ninja war. However, there's more to this jutsu than just zipping around the battlefield and even in the hands of someone like Tobirama Senju, a kage some would even argue is the weakest of the 7 hokages, even Tobirama pulled off insane feats that tend to be overlooked by the community when it comes to this jutsu! I feel like Tobirama just all of his free time thinking about new broken jutsu to create. Like this guy probably created more than half of the forbidden jutsu in Konoha. It's kind of ridiculous when you think about it.

There's a theory that Tobirama invented the Spirit Transformation Jutsu that Dan uses, except in a weaker form because unlike with Dan it required his life and Dan improved it. There's also a really high probability that Tobirama invented the Water Dragon Jutsu separately from Kirigakure Nin. Not that he was the first to use it per say but that he just separately created his own variation. Obviously the villages weren't formed by then so who knows. Also If you notice in the Fourth War the only times Tobirama shows excitement is when he sees another character do some new creative shit and he compliments them. Cause that's what he values. Kishimoto really made even the side characters fleshed out with small details like that.

he technically had both on him . just like shisui had either a do not engage or flee on sight rule as well. something even itachi didnt have on him. minato and shisui were kind of next level in certain ways. minato might not have been the most outright powerful guy in the series. i mean even the third hokage is considered more powerful. but the amount of skill and technique it took for him to achieve what he achieved made him scary on the battlefield. he also wasnt afraid to end someone without a thought. minato was uchiha level scary or more.

Awesome breakdown. I had a different breakdown of this technique but I really like how this was explained. My understanding of it was that the seal is the catalyst for the technique ,as we all know. Each seal or mark is a small fraction of the users chakra which is directly linked to wherever,whatever or whomever the user touches. The genius behind this is the seal is literally a physically active link to the users chakra like a shadow clone. It doesn’t require a hand sign, but the activation is tricky per se. As these seals react similar to blinking; natural and second nature. Granting the user the ability to move ridiculously fast since it’s always on. Now to transport or teleport others it will require the user to pump larger amounts of chakra into that focused mark to allow the items to pass through, like resistors to amps on an electrical circuit. don't know why I'm reposting this comment but me and my tiny brain came up with 2 little theories............. 1) Naruto's new power could be a dojutsu...... If in any case he remains alive... then his eyes will be a waste. 2) There's a possibility ....... for naruto to stay alive due to his uzumaki blood line... There could be a scene where it shows that isshiki attacked Naruto so hard and there's a big smoke cloud... and after the smoke clears out, not even a single piece of body is left.... sasuke and boruto assume that naruto is dead.... but in reality he's teleported to another dimension or another timeline(some how), From where he CANNOT come out on his own..... Then Isshiki gives.. Kawaki the kama . And then time skip.... .... pls give ur opinion....

Hey, I love your content and I think you did an extremely good job explaining it. However, you missed a couple of things. I don't mean to insult you, just to give some constructive criticism. First, shadow clones can only be use to teleport the user if they have been marked with the seal. The time in question you were talking about, was when sauske used the power of his rinnegan to switch places with an object within a certain distance. Also, the other way to erase the flying raijin jutsu was to have the hack ability of the six paths to nullify all ninjutsu. Again, this is only meant to be constructive criticism and I think you did a brilliant job.

He teleports INSTANTLY. Either you destroy the kunai before he teleports or after. But you can't do it while he teleports since it's literally INSTANTANIOUSLY. But yes, would be interesting to know what happens if someone is able to destroy the kunai at the right moment. Though I guess he could just then teleports to any other mark.

If it's destroyed literally at the same time, he would likely go to the void, where he could choose a new mark to teleport to. If not, then he simply wouldn't teleport.

Since Naruto never got to or even needed to learn the flying raijin i think it would be so dope to bring the jutsu home by Boruto learning how to use it. That with the fact that he basically learned the uchiha style shuriken jutsu he’d be broken because he could use that to place his markers in different spots to confuse his opponents
