I'd been absent from fandom discussion for almost a month to focus on personal life, just after the Fiszi situation. Last I remember, people wanted Pinkypills gone as well, and Scott was unresponsive. Now, try to grasp the horror of checking in on the community for the first time in a while mere *hours* after Scott's final statement today. Pinkypills voluntarily *left* instead of being outright fired like Fiszi was, Scott's apparently being cancelled AGAIN (what is this, the second time? Third?), and this weird book I'd never heard of (that had an Afton villain monologue in it, apparently) was confirmed to never have existed after people were going nuts about the potential lore inside of it. Shit felt like stepping out of a corner store only to stumble upon the aftermath of a tanker truck explosion. I can't FATHOM how it must feel to be a fan from the 2015 era seeing this.
