There were Illinois infantry regiments in the Tennessee and Georgia theater that were armed entirely with Henry rifles. I've seen Henry cartridges dug near Kennesaw, Lookout Mountain and Chatanooga. Usually the Army of the Potomac got the cool stuff, but Sherman got the Henry rifles, via the state of Illinois, which bought 10,000 rifles for its' troops.❤

Jimmson weed also known as the devils cherry or belladonna, never heard anyone die but is part of the nightshades family so maybe, when I was a kid we made a tea out of the bulbs you just showed. Yeah you trip balls, not a great trip most of mine was pretty disturbing with demons and bugs and talking trees. Can you believe it’s legal to grow yet medicines are not in some states. Crazy. Good hunt

Round things look like the head of pop rivets, in particular the one's they use on automobiles to hold the window regulators in the doors. Maybe some civil war soldier was working on his car's power windows out in that field. 🤔

“FOGBOW 2024” I’ve heard of Foghat but not fogbow. 😂 Great job on the CW bullets guys. Tennessee is such a beautiful state. We go through eastern Tenn on our way from Western NC up to Ohio all the time. You must have 1,000,000 miles on your truck by now Chigg.

I'm here in East TN! I also know of several people who ingesting Jimson weed in one way or another. One fellow was never right in the head again afterwards. I knew the family and they had to confine him at home during the first few days so he didn't hurt himself. For weeks after, he couldn't stand any bright light for more than a minute or so. I don't know if it brought out a latent psychosis or if it was damage from the Jimson weed, (which is of the Datura family) but he had to be in some kind of group home or assisted living until his death in the '80s.

It's good that they pocket the can slaw and trash and get it out of there. Otherwise when the landowner mows or plows that field you'll be digging the same trash again next year. Every piece of trash you take out of there you never have to worry about digging again. 😊

Not a Mawl Mawls are all Wood, a tree trunk cut to about 10 inches long with a handle and iron bands to stop it from splitting. Used to drive pegs and log splitting wedges,

That could very well be, but a "maul" is a type of splitting ax. I own several of them.
