About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

So sorry that he had chemo/radiation - but hey, now you can start to try to heal from that. Many changes are needed - lots of exercise/sunshine, diet, jobs, stress, etc. A diagnosis is just someone's opinion. Cancer is just a symptom - not the issue and your body heals it as long as we do not get in the way.

It’s taken me from dying on life support to here I am today....yep I’m a real survivor of Pancreas cancer, and I got it twice with two different strains of cancer cells! First surgery on Pancreas was stage 3; the second surgery on my Pancreas was was stage one but the most deadliest. I got home from my first diagnosis and tossed out lots of bad foods. I now live organic and live by the 5-10 ingredients rule. Also if you can’t pronounce the ingredients WHY ARE YOU EATING IT. Yikes 🤪 Blessings to many who have woke up to stop eating the ugly foods that are literally killing you on a daily basis

what a great story. I love that he talks about how his dream was to spend more time with his family, but just unintentional farming wasn't allowing him to achieve that. Such a great point that if you don't make clear plans, and have clear goals, you can get lost into ideas of what you "think" is the solution, while not making any positive changes for yourself.

Thank you for sharing this video. I cannot imagine having a child with cancer, let alone stage 4. I was diagnosed stage 4A colon cancer August 2017 and am trying to heal through nutrition and supplements. If God does show me grace and allow me to continue on earth cancer free, my husband and I will keep moving toward our off-grid homestead goals. Meanwhile, I am doing what I can where I am at. We travel for hubby's work so we live in a camper. Therefore, I container garden. I am so happy to see plants growing that will aid in my healing. I really appreciate Stacy's videos on healthy eating. I am working on implementing some of her videos into my protocol.

I have been growing a 650sqft garden for about 5 years. I keep trying different produce each year. I plant the usual suspects tomatoes squash peppers. Last year I was determined to harvest plenty of green beans. Canned about 80 qrts., this year I focused on Sweet potatoes. I harvested 50 plus lbs from my 6' x 3' raised bed. The past 2 seasons I expanded my garden. I have been wondering if I want to do more. Time will tell. My family loves eating the fresh produce. Another great video.

Lena ! Yes there are probably truths in every religion of the world but that doesn't mean every religion is truth! And I am sure there are things that I believe that are not truth... but at the end of the day I need to trust GOD will show me my errors... but I know the Bible is pure truth. There is only one truth not many there is only one GOD not many, and there is only way not many. That is what I believe, that is my choice, and my faith! I didn't mean for all I said to be an arguing point, I'm sorry!!!!

We are relatively new vegans, since July of 2017 and are going strong---dropped tons of weight, very healthy, health problems going down and just very strong and healthy and we have a HUGE garden and grow things that we eat --- we just really relate to what this video was all about---we are growing together each day and getting healthier by the day---we do raise chickens however, my husband is my egg eater--I'm still vegan. ok, Pork is my favorite meat. So, what is wrong with eating chicken, goat, and beef? I don't have a homestead and can't grow my own meat. I do have chickens, but they are our pets and they give us eggs and enjoyment. I have rabbits for their poop for the garden. They are also my pets. We have to rely on grocery stores for our food. My back yard is my garden. Some years some things grow well, and other years they won't grow at all. It is hard to figure out why I can grow one food and the next 3 years it won't grow. It would be nice to learn how to keep my garden growing all year to feed us. Thanks for a great presentation. Praise the Lord his child was cured of cancer. So, what foods are we to eat?

I wanted the young man to know yes, hogs do not have sweat glands, but there are small vegetation halt, and they only eat leftover vegetable produce that could feed to the chickens and you would also say to them and if you have a smoker, you have bacon or whatever you want but they are vegetation homes. You might want to check into it.

Thank you for this video. I need to research these people because I'm tired of working outside the home constantly being worried about my own food security. It is wonderful that you make such valuable information available to anybody who wants to look into it. It's not all about the money for you. It's about freedom and power of information and education. It's amazing!

Love his energy! He's got me excited to dust off my Fresh Start 21 cleanse and attempt to get back to the vegan lifestyle. I felt best when I went vegan, but working in an office bores the heck out of me and I snack on all the crap laying around allll day. That's my biggest downfall.
