Absolutely on point. More depth and analysis than I have seen to date. Well done mate.

Hard to disagree with you. Thanks for being a more than useful resource all year.

Great analysis. Really like that you have sufficiently considered football IQ and disposal efficiency rather than just physical attributes like others.
@johnthomas5113Ай бұрын
Loved your analyse of the talent out there .Both the good and bad ,which gave me a better idea of the pros and cons . As a Collingwood supporter and looking at the latter end of the draft I am feeling more confident than previously .

@footystuff I’ve subscribed I’ve noticed your the one that watches all there games and edits there involvements. So people can even see a highlight reel or there game against that week. Really appreciate all the time and effort your have done. Your opinion is exactly how I seen it to btw 😂

Thanks mate, appreciate the sub. If the two of us agree on the draft then we can't possibly be wrong!
@diddy3658Ай бұрын
@ mate I’ve been going on all these dumb mock drafts seeing them dribble crap. Then I see this and I’m like hang on this is the guy that makes the clips actually watches them. You are not wrong if Richmond don’t have 1 of those 3 as there first pick Draper/FOS/Jagga I won’t be happy as I’m a Richmond man to.

Great work so far mate. I'm going to watch the entire vid and maybe make a comment. I already love that Sid is top. I love that style of player.

Thanks mate, I don't have that many WA lads up the top end but I promise to make it up to you in 2025!
@ben2976Ай бұрын
@@footystuffYT I didn't expect many for this year. Next year and the year after is what I'm looking forward to.

Thanks for the videos! Best draft content around. AFL should put you on the payroll. Do you think there's a chance Harvey Langford starts or even ends up as a halfback, with his excellent aerial ability? Or will has agility limitations be too much of a liability? Do you think this is, overall, a weaker key position crop? Any thoughts on how it compares to next year's prospects? So hard to judge young talls, but I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of someone who has watched so much junior footy. Thanks again for all your work!
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
I think he'd be great from an attacking sense back there, but I think he'd struggle defensively matched up against agile small forwards, and he's probably not enough of a gorilla for the talls. So defensively it would be heavily matchup dependent. If you could free him up as a loose man in defense I think he'd be brilliant as he reads the play really well and could float around taking intercept marks then punishing you with that raking left boot, plus if he gets some clear ground ahead of him he can motor.

The king

As a Crows fan, I'd be thrilled if we land either Sid or Jagga.
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
You really can't go wrong with either, they're the most risk free elite prospects in the pool, and if the Tigers are going Lalor at 1 then your odds of landing one of them is strong.
@jadelaideАй бұрын
When I watch Draper I think wow he has some special traits. The others in tier 1 are talented but don't make me react the same way. However, I'm South Australian and my bias is showing haha.
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
I think its the most obvious player/team pairing in the draft, although I'm hearing you may need to trade up to secure him.
@matthewconnelly7286Ай бұрын
Who would you take? Draper or Smith? and why
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
Did you watch the video my friend? You'll find the answer to your question in there.
@levipeterken4020Ай бұрын
Sounds like we (tigers) will be taking Lalor and Smillie. I’m a little worried as it seems that’s risky and the other kids look really good too, but hopefully it all works out
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
I'm not surprised really, in some ways having that many picks frees you up to take a few more risks.
@diddy3658Ай бұрын
I’m not happy either mate! I’ve been saying for the last 12 months if we don’t not get Draper FOS or Jagga smith I’ll be cancelling the membership over 20 yrs. I’m not lying either it’s clear these guys are the best in the pool. We Richmond has first pick so can’t make an excuse.
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
Lalor is more of a risk, but he does have some elite traits.
@diddy3658Ай бұрын
@ yep I know this but as a pick 1 you pick the best then if they want to get Lalor you trade for it or you get him at pick 6!
@levipeterken4020Ай бұрын
@@diddy3658 Bit melodramatic there mate. Imagine cancelling your longtime membership because of a draft pick.
@UpthegutzАй бұрын
Langford is an absolute beast. Lethal left. Most ready . Will be a generational player. I hope the blues take him. Even though Draper represents our biggest need with his breakaway speed.
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
I'll be fascinated to watch him next season. If he can overcome his limitations he could make all the doubters look foolish.
@UpthegutzАй бұрын
@ Bont came with a late rush. Not as polished as Bont, but he has the toughness of a young Hodge. On another topic. Your content was so beneficial for all of us couch draft experts. Thank u

Thanks mate, love being able to make stuff that people appreciate.
@MindthewindowsАй бұрын
Super video and collections of player highlights! Hard to disagree with too much though I’d have Draper at the bottom of tier 1 as I worry his decision making and disposal at speed take away from his burst which is a clear strength. The best version of FOS still seems to be the best player here but it’s a risk to take a guy in the top 3-5 who struggled that much this year
@footystuffYTАй бұрын
Thanks mate. I guess that's drafting for you, always have to balance the risk with the level of talent. Some teams will be in a position to take more risks than others.
