Absolutely love my MK8 ST. For me, it’s a nice step up from the MK7 and much comfier. It also sounds farrr better. Especially with a Milltek on it ;) Few things not quite right in this video though. No adaptive dampers and torque vectoring is featured in the MK7 ST. Otherwise, enjoyed this review 😁

38 mpg?? Highest I have ever seen in my ST is 35 and that was through massive german road works - then after blasting it on the autobahn it settled about 32 mpg over long journeys.

The fact that you can order this St with a limited slip but you can’t get one in any non-m bmw absolutely blows my mind. The only non-m bmw to come with a limited slip was the zhp 435 and they only made 100. Bmw really needs to get it together in that regard.

i own a 2016 fiST and im glad we arent getting this car. it honestly seems like other than the lsd, and interior everything else is worse. a fiesta has about zero street cred in america. plus dropping a cylinder sealed its fate in the us market. car enthusiasts here love turbos,high boost, huge Hp numbers. its what made cars legendary to my generation -the evo's, srt4's,sti's etc all had engines with huge upgrade potential. the only potential huge upgrade in a 2018 fist is to swap in a older 1.6l ecoboost engine lol.

I am Fiesta ST owner of the version prior (MK7). I have driven this new one and yeah it's a great car. But I do find it too refined and sensible. It's missing that aggressive stance, which I believe makes it a massive icon in terms of looks. So really they are both great cars. But if it was me, I'd rather keep the one I have. It's not me being biased because I like new cars a lot with new technology. But there's something about the old ST which I believe will make it a classic in years to come.

So... this guy would choose to have the st instead of the hennessey. Who would choose a 3 cilinder turbo engine, in place of a 850hp v8? Yes, the fiesta is more practical, but there are lots of little cheap cars to buy. This is not about practicality, you cant compare those two cars. One is a practical hot hatch, the other one is a really cool track weapon. I would have the hennessey 100% sure.

Not the bargain the old one was,seats are for skinny to normal build folks,and paint is very thin like the old MK7 i had,lots of horrible dark hard plastics still,lets see how long before it gets squeaks and rattles and noisy breaks,least they gave a sunroof option this time.
