I remember getting the plush Numbuh 4 at my local Dollar General as a kid. I remember the parachute not working quite well at all, but I mostly just used it for pretend. I can only imagine that the toys went to discount retailers once the toyline reached the end of its life. I also remember at some point either cutting or pulling Numbuh 4's arm open and covering it up with some loose metal wire for... some reason lol. Crazy to see the prices for these things now!

I didnt even know there was a toyline until i seen it mentioned on TVTropes. The show was practically tailor made for a toyline and its a shame it didnt make it very far.

so excited to see someone cover this! knd is one of my all-time favorite shows and i’ve been kind of privately documenting the merch since around 2015. it seems like despite the large amount of stuff that exists, a lot of secondary items were produced in lower numbers like the skidood- series 5-7 of micros don’t come up quite as often as the rest, there’s an expansion pack for the trading card series with that same ratio on top of a completely cancelled second expansion, and there’s also a second dvd volume that is excessively way more expensive than the first because not even mr. warburton could find a copy when it came out (though cartoon network also randomly rereleased deadstock excess copies of the disk at one point 10+ years ago?). i’m so sad about all the cancelled micros, they’re probably my favorite of the line and i would’ve loved to have 86 and the delightful children. i’d love to see you look into more of these niche cartoon lines in the future too (:

Yes please do more videos on obscure cartoon toy lines! I love collecting these kinds of lesser known figure lines and while I don’t own any of the KND one’s, it was still a treat seeing a video go in-depth into one of these lines.

I still have my toys from my childhood! I remember seeing the whole line, which I'm guessing was a toysrus exclusive since I never saw them for sold anywhere else. I had both the collector sets as well as the first 4 waves of the micros, and always wanted the playset with Father as well as the larger sized figures, but they were apparently too expensive for my mom at the time. They're all definitely quite expensive now, and my grails

This vid unlocked an old core memory of mine. I vividly remember buying some KND toys either at Dollar Tree or Family dollar. Tho I never once saw any advertising for em. Great vid pls do more obscure cartoon toy lines. I vote for Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! To be next. Another very rare set of toys with limited releases.

It's a shame this toyline never went through and some of the things got cancelled. And it's also a shame that some of the released stuff is *SO DANG EXPENSIVE!!!* Seriously, seeing these toys on Ebay costing more money is fricking barbaric as hell!!!

8:34 oh sweet I found three different sets of these at Dollar General back in the day. Still have the mini figures, the Count Spankulot set, The set with the Lice Queen and the set with Battle Ready Armor of Numbah 5s sister. Was her name Cree.

I loved this video, next to Ed Edd n’ Eddy this was my favorite Cartoon Cartoon show. It’s a shame the toyline didn’t take off. The whole show seems to have been designed to sell toys. I made several replicas of the 2x4 technology in the show like the Orange juice carton periscope or the soda bottle ray gun. It’s an all very Toyetic.🤷‍♂️😞 Man! Knowing that they were going to make a Rainbow Monkey toyline and that they made these first breaks my heart. Even if kids didn’t know what they were from little boy and girls would have loved the dolls anyway. I was around the same age as Sector V when the show was in it’s hay day and I always wanted a Rainbow Monkey.😭🤬 This video was excellent and I love how your presenter voice sounds more like a normal person. It’s more relatable.👍

I was lucky enough to get the larger Numbuh 1 and the R.O.A.D.S.T.A.R. back in the day. Solid toys. Nice to see them talked about. 🙂 The smaller figures in particular rocked; they had nice articulation for that scale and I really liked the accessory variety. Kind of wish I'd picked up the basic collector set for all the main characters, but woulda-shoulda-coulda. 😅 It's a shame that Cartoon Network never really tapped into other properties for action figure potential. I know there were _Powerpuff Girls_ and _Dexter's Laboratory_ toys for a while, but I would've loved something like _Billy & Mandy._ Could have been in the same format as the smaller _KND_ figures, too, only with slightly more macabre accessories. 😂 For real, 10 year-old me would be all over a Hoss Delgado toy with interchangeable weapon hands.

Honestly I just blame marketing especially around this era. I feel if there was more of a push in marketing and actually getting people’s attention on the toy line with as many ads and commercials. These would’ve absolutely sold way better and we could’ve saw some of the other waves of toys from this line get made. It genuinely just frustrates me the effort wasn’t there. I really enjoyed KND back in the day as a kid. Had I’d known these were even a thing at that point in time I would’ve been begging my parents to get me as many from the line as possible! It’s a show that translates very well into potential toys. I mean just look at those freakin role playing toys!? I would’ve killed to get my hands on an actual G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A toy gun which was always my favorite weapon from the show.
