HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!! The pen is such a glittery goodness my gawd. Seemownay asked about the threads and BENU said it's just part of the production process which could change down the line. So yeah maybe it's to differentiate between other models?? None the less it's such a pretty resin.

Happy Birthday Kerry! I've got myself the Dailymate Thursday in Broad. It's my first Benu and I really like it minus the 5+ turns to uncap. But, in honesty, it doesn't bother me that much when I'm at the desk. I'll probably end up getting the Sunday and Monday ones as I can't decide which one is better looking.😊

Pilot Iroshizuku Tsukushi is my fave brown ink. Any Pilot Iroshizuku ink is top on my list. Benu euphoria pens, I just gravitate to them and they make me smile. Your Astrogem from your mystery box is a big WOW. Happy B-day.

Happy birthday! Nice gift for yourself. I do much the same! Also, I have the Euphoria Bourbon, and have been content with the threading. I did find it necessary out of the box to floss the Schmidt nib with a brass shim, but it has written beautifully since.

Happy Birthday! I really love my Daily Mate Thursday with the purple and chocolate brown, and I'm using it as my daily writer--except when I have to make several short notes, because it's too many turns, so I switch to a different pen. Apart from the capping, it's my favorite! I also have a Euphoria and a Briolette, both great pens. Thanks for sharing your birthday pen!

Happy birthday 🎉 I think everyone hates the 5+ turns 😂 I tried one and was like wtf 😮 Seemownay (here on the KZbin) asked them about it and was told it was to do with the manufacturing process they are using to make the pen cheaper than their other pens. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I bought earl grey tea and four 🍀 leaf clover talisman. Hardly used it from the first inking because it takes so long to uncap and I'm pretty impatient. By the time I'm ready to write I forget my train of thought which is annoying. 😅 Better to use wetter ink that doesn't dry out fast so you can pause between writing to avoid need to cap and uncap so many times.

Happy Birthday! I don't have any Daily Mates, but I do love Benu. The threads would annoy me. My second favorite modern fountain pen company is Opus 88, and the pens I have by them take three and a half turns -- and that's the only thing about them I don't like.

Happy birthday! This looks like the most appealing color in the Daily Mate collection. Thanks for showing it! Tsukushi went away at the same time as Ina-ho. I tried a sample and really liked it, and when I went back, it was gone. I was journaling yesterday and asking myself what makes a truly great pen and whether the Benu Euphoria meets the requirements. Care to weigh in?

The number of cap twists needed and not being able to post it is reason enough not to buy it. My Talisman does post, not great, but still ok. Writes ok, Twist caps are ok. I have the Venus Hair edition. I wouldn´t buy it again though. I paid 245 USD roughly for it bec of taxes and shipping from USA to Europe. That is outrageous. Happy belated birthday!
