Lmr sells inner fender aprons. Buy a set, drill out the spot welds and put it back in and weld it

ricardo m Don't ever let not knowing how to do something make you scrap a car. If you need a particular skill to get your project where you want and invision it, learn it. It'll open up a ton of new possibilities for you and future projects. Learning to weld is key, don't give up.

I know it’s tough not having help. Before I scraped it, I would at least try to fox it myself. A $100 welder from harbor freight can do what you need. KZbin and google the hell out of it. Anything can be saved if you want to put the work into it. Hope you can find a way to save your fox! Please keep us posted. I’ll pin this comment in hopes that someone around your area sees it and can help. 👍

Well its rough but it's a start to learn. I would say getting a doner car might help your cause. I had an 83 and its hatch was rusted and I'm glad I got rid of it and bought my 86.

+1 on busting out the welder and trying to save it. If it's already rusted as bad as it sounds hit Google, KZbin, books, etc. on rust repair and use it as a learning experience, what else do you got to lose? If you can fix it you've got real pride into it and experience from it. If you're not able to save it, it might be time to think about scrapping it, or maybe find a clean roller and swap the good stuff out. Either way, good luck with whatever you decide man, really.

Bro this is seriously such great content. This isn’t about how to restore a classic Fox body mustang back to museum quality original condition. This is an average joes “how to” on how to attain a beautiful car that will command the respect of your peers and give you something to be proud of. All while doing so incredibly affordably! Keep it up man. This is a lot of work , not only to take the footage and teach this. But to edit this , and create this and consistently post this , its just incredible man. This is great for the hobby and I love watching your journey. Just motivates me to get started on restoring my first car 😎. My 88 Gt. I really can’t wait to see your car done man. I wish you lived closer so I could helpb

Should just strip that roof with some 80 on a buffer then go back over it with 180 then 320 on a DA since it's got spray paint on it, but either way great video man

The spray paint has been sanded off, the blue paint underneath is good on the roof. The sides of the car were not that way.. that paint was gummy for some reason.

93 they changed the plug layout for some stupid reason they don't have the two plugs for the windows and door locks so it makes pulling the arm rests a bit more of a PITA.

both of the 93's I've owned over the years didn't have them. May have been changed in 92 but not sure. all ways pissed me off when I had to pull the panel. you have to unscrew the switch connection to the armrest. since they don't have plugs.

Some of the 93’s do and some don’t. I had two that were totally different. One was like the style you are talking about and the other was like this older style. Both were 93 but one was a notch and other a GT.

Moving right along! Where did the dent puller come from?
@ezcondition
@ezcondition 5 жыл бұрын
on rusty headed screws, place the screw driver in position and use a small hammer to give it a wack. it usually shocks things free and the screw will come out easy. i do that to ever suspect looking screw or bolt head. i'm the type that tries to save ever nut, bolt, clip, screw, wire looms etc.

I see you stopped showing the viewers what your spending on parts for this "budget build" because its gone way south of "budget". According to this video you've got two brand new front fenders and a brand new front bumper coming for this car and whatever else you plan to buy brand new for this car. Ive been following this build and I can certainly say you never showed or even mentioned what you paid for these items but I can assure you its certainly not "budget". Long story short here....restoring these cars or even making them looking presentable is certainly not "budget" by any means unless the car is already in great shape when you purchase it. This just shows that you can save a few bucks when taking on a project of this magnitude by doing your own work but when it comes to having to buy new parts certainly nothing "budget" there. So much for this being a "budget build". You also never showed or even mentioned what you paid for the cobra body kit. Last time i checked there is nothing "budget" about purchasing a cobra bodykit for ANY mustang, no matter whether its second hand or brand new. Nice try buddy but even a blind man can see this is NOT a "budget build". Nice work so far however.
@BREW2LFOXBODY
@BREW2LFOXBODY 5 жыл бұрын
The budget has slipped some, not going to lie. But it’s still within the range of a budget built imo. Like you said, nothing is cheap when buying parts. I’ll look at me receipts and talk about it in an upcoming video. FYI though.... I’m not intentionally withholding information from anyone.
