@@genehart261 My 09 Dodge 2500 has a manual with a granny low, and I love it. I do not live in an urban area, so the manual is not an issue as we don't have 10 miles of rush hour 2 MPH bumper to bumper traffic. IF we did have that, I would drive my 02 Jeep. I realize that my Dodge is not a square body, but it rides soooooo much better than my old square body Dodge. I had a square body Chevy Camper Special, but it had 2 fuel tanks, and it needed 2 fuel tanks. It got 6 MPG. My Dodge gets 18-25 depending on my speed. I have heard/seen so many bad things about new pickups that I can truthfully say that I will never have one. I watched a body shop YT channel, and what he had to do to just install an outside door latch, and all of the snap-in plastic pieces on the outside of the body was a deal-breaker for me.

@jdearl99999 ай бұрын
The reality is that whatever truck gets driven gets broken. The axle that snapped was new. The same thing could have happened to the new axle in the tow truck or FJ. In fact, with their more powerful engines that sort of failure is *more* likely, not less. One of the things that I like about Fab Rats is that they remind me of my grandpa and my uncle. No sense using the expensive rig for a job that the farm truck can handle. I personally like how Paul gets the job done with stuff that other people have tossed out. He can't help himself either. He's even steam cleaning the carpets in that old girl.
