This was being made for the Elden Ring video contest but then I got really sick, so I wasn't able to make it on time. But here it is now and I hope that it brought you joy or something. This was my first time ever really animating anything so yeah, stay frenzied.

My favorite moment in the game was going all-in on the madness and then running up to Gideon as he monlogues and one-shotting him with the frenzied grab. Just character-wise made my dude look like he'd fully gone mad and abandoned all sanity

I got spoiled early about Midra but got super hyped when I realized the Abyssal Woods was, indeed, a madness swamp like I theorized. And discovering there was Madness perfume got me super hyped!

this was actually due to a bug where the damage would scale with both the seal AND the weapon in your other hand. as cool as it was to do this to gideon it has since been patched

I mean, i really don't see why we should even be surprised of how badly that boss spell sucks balls. One of the most sacred and staple rule about any existing magic spell in From Software games, is that the more the thing looks cool, the higher are the chances it will be disgustingly useless by doing pathetically worse than the basic spells you usually get in early game.

If you let Melina burn herself, then go down and get the frenzied flame. She won’t kill you at the end of the game like normal. Instead you just destroy everything. And she can’t stop you.
