If you are familiar with the age old Ligma Balls trap, then it's another iteration on that, if you are not, it's simply a play on similar sounding words. In this case, the op replaced the "lay these" in Margit's signature line: "Lay these foolish ambitions to rest", with Ladies, which is pronounced pretty much exactly like "lay these", thus enabling it to be used as a sort of verbal trap for the Tarnished in this case. And if you're still confused, look up ligma balls, or alternatively, ladies nuts on your face.

Yeah but thay move is so easy, you just wait and watch his hand and arms and when you see they start to move you can roll or even do attacks while he's winding it up if the weapon is fast enough. I think Mohg has onr of the hardest dodge timings, his trident is so strange

Yeah, in Dark Souls 3, I think only Dancer, Lorian, the Nameless King (mostly him) and a few other DLC bosses have rollcatch intervals. In Elden Ring, even the Misbegotten does this.

@@MarzaButTube yeah but the game is already easy in so many other aspects. Taking the unpredictability of the bosses away would make it too easy. The game already gives you access to an insane amount of options and resources to overcome bosses if you need them.

As someone that's studied Margit's character model for anatomy practice/potential fanart, I seriously commend you for being able to animate his horns so consistently!! They are NOT that easy to untangle, much less draw repeatedly. And this is on top of your already dynamic style/staging, and excellent comic timing. This animation is so well done that it's a travesty how few views it has, so I'm gonna rewatch this video a few times at 0.25 speed and hope that that will recommend this treat to more people. Elden Ring boss fights be like: 7 hit uninterruptible combo, followed by a half-arena hop to prevent you from getting a hit in, followed by a 7 second long windup attack to close the distance that they'll instantly cancel into another, slightly different, 5 hit combo if you try to get a hit in, followed by a .05 second period you can actually get a hit in except just kidding that was a bait to get you in range of their grab that drains 75% of your healthbar, inflicts status, and kills your dog

You can even stop strafing a bit before the attack comes down and it'll still whiff, if you're by his tail. Gives you a good opportunity to hit him with a full-charge RT.

It's worth noting that margit has 2 different attacks after the windup depending on how close you are. If you're distant, he'll jump towards you and swing the weapon horizontally instead of vertically like in the animation.

Great job at showing Margits insane wind up time but it fails to address that not only does he have that but also an extremely quick multiple weapon combo attack. He can also quickly stab with his holy weapon directly after big attacks when you’d think to punish.

The way the intro plays like a badass start to a showy conflict (smoke flick with the axe was just *chef kiss*) and then devolves into a game of delayed wack-a-mole that everyone in this comment section feels kinship with makes this my favorite fanimation for ER so far.
