I think you have to have the shoulder width to go along with the lats to have that effect on that front lat pose that's what Dorian has but I feel Lee with the Vaccum plus the lat thickness and great shoulder width makes his lat spread #1

Dorian's FL is by far the best. One of the several reasons is his quads are in perfect aesthetic ballance to his upper body. They don't make him visually heavy in legs department like Ramy, Bonac, Kai or even Phil. Dorian here looked kind of quicker, more athletic despite having huge upper body ... Better ballanced to my eye (if only those sad bis were better :D)

People asked why Arnold front lat spread looked good in 1971, was because he was at his heaviest weight at 257 lbs with his capped fuller deltoids. Because of his narrow slopped shoulders was a weakness which was exposed in 1980 Mr. Olympia with smaller deltoids.

@ Nah. Curry legs are lacking. But he has a better chest, smaller waist, better v taper. I don't think curry's arms are too big for the lats at all. (he would have to have Phil Heath, or Roelly Winklaar arms to overshadow those lats) The only place where Dorian beats him is in the leg department.

Ronnie Coleman lat spread from 98-99 is the best front lat spread of all time. His lats rival those of dorians with a better package. (Better chest, tighter mid section, and a much better lower body).

Regardless, Ronnie Coleman is slightly taller than Dorian and had a 40LB advantage to his caliber. Pictures don’t do justice as Ronnie would dwarf the competition at his prime. Furthermore, about Dorian beating 4/7 poses up against Ronnie; Its flattering to think Dorian would win more than 2 poses up against a prime Ronnie. The side tricep and front lat spread at best and maybe the ab and thigh. The other poses all easily go to Ronnie as he dominates the front double bicep, the side chest, the rear lat spread and rear double bicep. And if you wanna count the Most Muscular then Ronnie wins that as well.
