I agree completely. It's amazing how much your comfort level is associated with creativity. I have no idea how you two are able to maintain the hectic travel schedule you do. I'm always in awe when I see your videos.

Hello from Phnom Penh! Great channel!! :)
@FrugalWanderer8 ай бұрын
Hello from Siem Reap. I'm hoping to visit Phnom Penh in a few weeks. Any suggestions on what I should do there. I will be in the city for 2 or 3 days depending on budget.
@10ambeer588 ай бұрын
I'm guessing you have been here before? I have not gone back far enough on your vids to know.// If not* then maybe Toul Sleng genocide museum and the killing field,,, depressing day but*essential to understanding history of the country...most people prefer BKK1,2,and 3 neighborhoods..they are def nice but I live Riverside and prefer it here You for sure should get vid of Wat Phnom, Central Market, and or O'Russey market, or Russian market..then of course you got tons of bars to visit if you want...dont get ripped off in massage parlors lol..if you go take the cash u want to spend and 0more because some* places will straight up rob you lol@@FrugalWanderer

@@10ambeer58 thanks for the suggestions and the massage heads up. I have not been to Phnom Penh as of yet. It will be my first time there. I am planning on visiting the killing fields and the museum but not make any videos there. I would feel odd making content based upon the suffering of others, but I want to know more about it and learn. I do plan on the markets as well, but the bars will not be on my list. I am not a drinker, so that part of any city would only get a walk by during the day. Haha thanks for the info
@10ambeer588 ай бұрын
I admire you not exploiting suffering...and it's interesting...I had a feeling you don't drink..I'm really not sure why I thought that.. I plan to be a non drinker by 2025...@@FrugalWanderer

@@10ambeer58 I wish you well on your goal for 2025. I gave it all up almost a decade ago and it was the best thing I have done for myself besides coming to SE Asia. I don't even think about it any longer. I used to be a bartender and a DJ, so I was surrounded by it for years. It was easy to walk away from all of it.

Love that intro. Did you make it yourself? What Vlog Camera are you using please. Great video.
@FrugalWanderer9 ай бұрын
The intro is a little trick I figured out in Davinci Resolve. It's honestly quite easy to do and I like the effect. The camera I typically use is the DJI pocket 3. It's a great all purpose vlogging camera and I love it. I also use the DJI Action 4 from time to time if I am going somewhere where it's rainy or if I want a different kind of shot. I've been happy with both since I got them. Thanks for the comment and asking about my gear. I could honestly ramble about it for ages. Haha

So much cleaner and nice to see sidewalks. There were none in Thailand in your videos there
@FrugalWanderer9 ай бұрын
There are certainly sidewalks in Bangkok, unfortunately where I was staying, there were not many that I was able to use. It does seem cleaner here in Siem Reap. I see folks out sweeping the sidewalks every day, which is nice to see.
